Vote for The Worst run Organization in the NBA
I was going to suggest Portland for their record with injuries plus going through a number of GM's and even my team Phoenix for trading away so many picks for cost cutting sake but their medical staff maybe save them.
The Nets took a huge gamble by trading away effectively Lillard, Kanter and Favours but the free agents did re-sign with them.
At the moment I think the Kings maybe shade it but I hate to nominate them as their support is great and the city loves the team.
They can take the 8th spot...And I also Nominate The Washington Wizards...
The went from being one of the toughest Teams in the Eastern Conference to being the Worst of the Worst...
Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittendon started this downward spiral, trading veterans Caron Butler and Antwan Jamison accellerated the Fall, they had malcontents Andray Blatche, Javale Mcgee and Nick Young(all of which are actually maturing with different Organizations)...They've followed up Drafting John Wall, by drafting solid players that have underwhelmed us all(Vessley,Singleton, Crawford, Booker and Beal) Taking on the Terrible contracts of Ariza, Okefor and Nene has only made matters worst, because now they have NO Cap space for the next few seasons...
Washington also traded away the chance to draft Ricky Rubio. McGee was ridiculed there so bringing Nene in was a decent move but he does have injury issues and has nearly 4 years left on his deal and is 30 now so would be hard to ever move on.
Taking on Okafor and Ariza put money back on the cap they had saved when they moved Arenas also.
I would pick Washington and Sacramento.
Wizards made some good moves by getting rid of some headaches in Blatche,Young,McGee last year but terrible moves by taking on Ariza(who's shooting around 32% FG/24% from 3 and Okafor(who has the greenlight to shoot jumpers) and tried to justify it by saying "FA's aren't going to sign here so we'll trade for them". Also drafting Jan Vesely who looks completely lost without Wall to throw him lobs(all he can do it dunk).
Idk where the Kings are going...they have and team full of lottery picks and they still don't seem to be going anywhere. where are they going to be in the next 2-3 years? hopefully not praying for a top pick
The Suns could probably have a championship if he would have spent some money. He traded away a young Joe Johnson and sold his first round picks for multiple years that turned out to be Luol Deng and Rondo.
The Kings just don't seem to care what kind of product that put out on the floor.
The Nominees are as listed...
1. The L.A Clippers
2. The Sacramento Kings
3. The Washington Wizards
4. The New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets
5. The Orlando Magic
6. The Minnesota Timberwolves
7. The Toronto Raptors
