1. Best SF right

1. Best SF right now?
LeBron

2. Best SF in 5 years?
LeBron

3. Most underrated?
I'm gonna stretch it a little bit and say Ersan Ilyasova because he plays some SF and will likely play more of it this year to give Henson more playing time. Guy averaged nearly 20 and 10 per 36 after the all-star break while having one of the best FG% and 3PT% in the league.

If he doesn't count, I guess I'd go with AK47. I feel like he's always been underrated.

4. Overrated?
Paul Pierce right now. A lot of people seem to think he's still a great all-around player. His defense has completely fallen off, and he's becoming more and more of just a glorified spot-up shooter.

5. Best Young SF (2 yrs or less exp. in league)?
Kawhi Leonard. Don't even really think it's close unless I'm forgetting someone.

6. Best Rookie SF?
Giannis Adetokunbo strictly because of his upside.

7. Most athletic?
LeBron

8. Most skilled?
LeBron. Honorable mention: Carmelo

9. Best leader?
LeBron

10. Best All-Time?
LeBron, Bird, Elgin Baylor

LeBron is the best small

LeBron is the best small forward now. He is also the best POWER FORWARD now. Best SF in five years should be KD but
Paul George will give him a run for his money. Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker should be nice too with LeBron being the elder
statesman. In 5 years, LeBron might still be the best power forward.

I like Paul George a lot. There is a lot of alpha dog there. Durant is great too but he reminds me too much of Clyde Drexler. Not sure he will
ever lock it down.

I think LeBron's five MVP's and back to back rings edge out Larry Bird and his 3 titles and 3 straight MVP's. Baylor, Dr. J, Hondo, and Scottie Pippen should also be mentioned as all time great small forwards. Although, Pip had Baylor's longevity, Hondo's defense, and Dr. J's length and aerial theatrics. Pippen should probably be third all time.

i get your point, but bird

i get your point, but bird has some of the best clutch iv'e ever seen. and he was great at everything to. i think lebron will have the better career, but right now bird still wins the case for me, although it's a though call. imo, that 1986 celtics team lead by larry bird was a top 3 team all time. they might beat the 96' bulls on a neutral floor, and i'm almost certain they would beat them at home. bird played at least as good as competition as lebron. while lebron beat duncan and durant who are both 2 all time greats, he also failed against dwight and also lost to duncan before. his own teammate dwyane wade has more rings. kobe is not getting younger (i dont' think), so we may never see a kobe vs. lebron. lebron lost to dirk. bird took that celtics team who is about as talented as the heat teams and brought them over the top a few times. and when he lost, he lost to magic. but he also beat magic and an olajuwon/sampson combo. when bird didn't make it out of the east, it wasn't just a dwight howard that beat bird and the celtics. it was the stacked 76er teams.
also, not saying it's going to happen, but we still don't know if durant will pass lebron someday or how soon that could be. durant is still young and hasn't plateaued yet. this will be an interesting debate 10 years from now.

Best of all time was a toss-up between Lebron and Larry, so I decided to go with who would win out in one on one match up. Lebron is just too big, quick, and agile. A guy his size shouldn't be able to move the way he does!

Here's my two cents yet again...

1. Best SF right now?
Lebron James. This pretty much goes without saying. He's the best player in basketball.

2. Best SF in 5 years?
It should be Durant. However, it wouldn't surprise me if Lebron was still the better player.

3. Most underrated?
Chandler Parsons. His is BY FAR the best value contract in the NBA. I don't think too many people realize how good he really is. Still can't believe he was only drafted 38th in 2011. Such a shame.

4. Overrated?
Rudy immediately comes to mind. One of the absolute worst contracts in the NBA.

5. Best Young SF (2 yrs or less exp. in league)?
Kawhi Leonard is the truth. Intelligent, great instincts, excellent defender, blossoming shooter. He's only going to get better.

6. Best Rookie SF?
Anthony Bennett is a PF (I really don't see him being able to play the 3 in the NBA). Because of this Otto Porter wins by default.

7. Most athletic?
Lebron James is probably the greatest all-around athlete the NBA has ever seen.

8. Most skilled?
Gotta go with Lebron here again. But Kevin Durant is right there as well.

9. Best leader?
I have to go with Paul Pierce. Although Lebron has grown tremendously as a leader over the past two years, his absolutely dreadful 2011 NBA Finals performance is still fresh in my mind.

10. Best All-Time?
To me Larry Bird is still the greatest small forward of all-time. If Lebron can win another ring (maybe two) only then will he surpass Larry Legend in my book.

To compare Lebron and

To compare Lebron and Bird:

Titles: Bird 3, LeBron 2
MVP's: LeBron 4, Bird 3
Finals MVP's: Bird 2, LeBron 2
Scoring titles: LeBron 1, Bird 0.
Olympic gold medals: LeBron 2, Bird 1.
Rivalries: LeBron 1-1 vs. Spurs. 1-0 vs. Durant. Bird 1-2 vs. Lakers, never lost to a playoff series to Jordan.

That's close! You could go either way. I think though that one more MVP and/or title would put LeBron over the top.

1. Best SF right now? Lebron

1. Best SF right now? Lebron James, only argument you can make is he played PF most oft he season with Miami and in that case, its Kevin Durant.

2. Best SF in 5 years? Kevin Durant, he's just entering his prime and still showing improvement in his ballhandling, passing, rebounding and all around defense. Also, there is no reason to believe that he doesn't stay in the 50-90-40 club for the next 5 years.

3. Most underrated? Kevin Durant, see above.

4. Overrated? Rudy Gay, I hope he changes my mind because he is too talented not to be a top tier small forward. I wish he was rebound, play D and put more emphasis on his dribble drive game instead of hoisting 20 footers.

5. Best Young SF (2 yrs or less exp. in league)? Harrison Barnes, whether he sticks with the Warriors or gets traded, he is at the very least, a future no. 2 option on a good playoff team.

6. Best Rookie SF? Otto Porter, it's a default pick, he didn't show well in Vegas.

7. Most athletic? Lebron James. he's a freak.

8. Most skilled? Carmelo Antheny, he only shows all of his skills in the international game, but they can't be argued.

9. Best leader? Lebron James, back to back titles, both won on his back.

10. Best All-Time? Larry Bird, Larry Legend gets knocked off the thrown whenever Lebron hangs them up, Mr. Durant makes an argument for the thrown but falls short due to Lebron and Scottie Pippen goes down as the greatest defensive small forward of all-time.

6. Best Rookie SF? I like Otto Porter - but I really like Sergey Karasev - and there's probably some bias involved but I see this guy being great in the near future. So my vote is for Karasev.

LeBron as the best leader

LeBron as the best leader among small forwards is a &$#%#&@! joke. He may be one of the best players of all time but he is not a leader.

Maybe earlier in his career

Maybe earlier in his career he wasn't a leader, but if you watch him durrin games now he is a general on the court. He is vocal during games and on the bench also. He will encourage players, and he will get on them. You don't think the fact that he plays defense hard, and goes for lose balls doesn't have an effect on others? He leads by example, and is very vocal.

Seems to be a very effective leader to me

Last year he was even the

Last year he was even the leader of the Olympic team which featured guys like Kobe, Anthony, Paul and so on..
There's lots of ways to be a leader, see the difference between Kobe, Duncan and Lebron, They all make it work.

5. Best Young SF (2 yrs or less exp. in league)? Won't this be Leonard's third year? If we look at it like that, then I'm going with Harrison Barnes. If not, I'll stick to Leonard.
