Vince Carter to the Mavs

Would be a very nice pickup for the Mavs. Carter always brings that winning attitude with his good defense and ability to fill a role, even a minimal one without complaining. Never takes a bad shot and likes to defer to teammaters when his shot isn't there. Trys hard alll the time. Perfect fit for a veteran and team oriented Mavs team.

@DMo21, are you sure you're thinking of the right Carter? Vince Carter is not a winner, does not play good defense and takes a lot of bad shots.... Are you possibly being sarcastic?

Hahahaha that was pretty clever dmo21. If he can give a solid 12-14 ppg and remain somewhat health, I think it's a decent signing. I'm not sure on the details of the amount. Hopefully it's nothing more than $3-5 million for a season or 2

Interesting signing, I guess that means Barea, Butler, and Chandler are gone. Well, hopefully they can get Turiaf in the Chandler sign and trade, and if they get that, they should be somewhat fine, cause they still have great depth.

There goes the Mavs chances of repeating.

I actually like the signing alot. VC played some good ball with Kidd in NJ. He'll get a starting job and fill it up on O. Obv his D is lacking but Stevenson and Marion provide that.

Too bad, I was looking forward to seeing what Rudy Fernandez was capable of doing with a larger role.
