Very Early Look at All-Stars
Teams have played between only 5 (philly) and 8 games (lakers) so it is QUITE early for me to be making these projections. However, I still think a sneak-peak at the potential all-stars is a good idea.

what do you guys think?
I think it's pretty good, like you said, it's super early, but I have no problems with that list.
If the Nuggets find themselves at the top of the standing somehow, I think Ty Lawson will make the All-Star team and I wouldn't even mind him being on the team. If the Nuggets are successful, then someone on that team deserves a spot.
I wouldn't be suprised if Griffin gets voted in as a starter.
are voted on by the fans, I think Blake or Dirk will take Kevin Loves starting spot. But I love the overall list of players you choose. Nice work.
you beat me by less than a minute! lol
I can't see Harden making it just quite yet. I would think either that Lawson, Lowry and Ginobilli will all be going after the 2 guard spots on the bench.
If Eric Gordon could have stayed healthy I thinkl he would have been a sure-thing but I would take him out of the running with missing the next 2-3weeks.
Deron Williams will recover, and make it, so wil Westbrook, but very well done list, let's hear your projected stats FranFran, lol.
The West starters, or potential starters, are all players with high skill levels and not extremely athletic, but the East has pure video game, absurd athletes in their starting all-star lineup, with the exception of Melo. Lol
Bargnani needs to be in it....all the good numbers/stats aside this guy has been clutch this year and hitting tough contested shots (which i think the couches/media will remember which will get him the votes to be a reserve)
JOSE SHOULD BE CONSIDERED ....2nd most assist per game in the nba (techically the best if you consider the fact that he doesnt turn the ball over)
look at his numbers (if he keeps it up he should be considered) - http://www.nba.com/playerfile/jose_calderon/
Epic field goal percentage and his defense has improved (raptors are among the leage leaders in therms of defeense so far this year/ stats wise)
Jose has improved, but what Eastern point guard is he going to beat out? Jrue Holiday is also sitting on the outside looking in at 17 ppg 4 apg and better defense as well as Deron Williams at 18 ppg 6 apg 1.7 spg.
No disrespect to Calderon, but the East is loaded at the PG spot and John Wall has the talent too, he's just skinking it up right now.
G- Kobe Bryant
G- Chris Paul
C- Andrew Bynum
F- Kevin Durant
F- Blake Griffin
G- Derrick Rose
G- Dwayne Wade
C- Dwight Howard
F- Carmelo Anthony
F- LeBron James
^ how (i know hes having a good season)Monroe makes it over Andrea Bargnani is beyond me
^^^thank you for saying what i wanted to say, no disrepect to Monroe hes a good player and im sure his time will come but i think Bargs really wants an allstar
I love Bargs, and think that he'll have a shot to make it, but the only guys that think he should make are either Italian or Raptor fans, lol.
The East's starters statswise as listed above must stand a very good chance to be the voted in starters.
i dont love franfran's list too much... rudy gay an all-star? 15.8 ppg, 8.2 rpg, 41% fg shooting are not all-star numbers
despite that being true lol, honestly bargs has potential if you ever watch the games the only thing that gonna stop him from making it is the raptors themselves, if you watched the game last night against the nets, his teammates ignored him all game long after he went 4/6 for 8pts in the 1st, he had plenty of open looks and instead of playing through him tried to be the stars themselves, the raps commentators were saying it themselves...but before we say oh they had good shots bs they chucked horrible shots, turned it over. Dwayne Casey was yelling at them for it as well. Derozen was 1/6 for 3 points. they are losing by 17 as we speak to my nets.
he finished with 17pts 6/12 4 reb 3 assists and 2 blks besides the reb it would be a decent game
