Vasileios Kavvadas' (NBA Draft Eliglible) Per Minute Numbers In Eurocup
Vasileios Kavvadas was injured to start the season, and only just now came back, so he didn't get to play much, and is being limited in his minutes to ease him back.
But nonetheless, he proved in his time on the court in Eurocup what I have been saying here. He is DOMINANT in the low post. This guy would be a college junior if he was American. But even at this age can DOMINATE the low post in Eurocup.
Just look at the per minute numbers:
He averaged 32.9 PPG per 40, and was highest in the whole league for anyone with 8 minutes or more of playing time.
Again, he got a knee injury right at the start of the season, so he missed a lot of games, and then he could only come back slowly, and has to play limited minutes to start (about 8 minutes a game) until he gets his conditioning back up.
So think, even coming off a knee injury, and even being out of game shape, he was scoring 33 points a game per 40 minutes at Eurocup level.
And do not give me the BULL&$#%#&@! about no one in NBA counts anything done in Greek League...this is Eurocup level, which today is now the second best league in Europe after the Euroleague, as these days Eurocup is better than leagues like the Spanish League and even the United League. Eurocup is finally these days back to what it used to be in the Saporta Cup times.
So, coming off a knee injury, and playing out of shape, Kavvadas dominated in the low post on offense in the second best league in Europe - at the age of a college junior.
Now, tell me again why this 6'9" BEAST is "not good enough to be drafted"and tell me again all these made up excuses you created as to why he does not appear on any NBA mock drafts.......
This guy Kavvadas is in absolute BEAST mode every time in the low post. No one can stop this guy down there. I am telling you, it is crazy that NBA teams are not even looking at him, and that he cannot even make a mock draft list.
You want a comparison? Rudy Gobert and Dario Saric play in the SAME LEAGUE and played like total &$#%#&@! in the time they were on the court, yet there they are all over these mock drafts. It's a comedy to see those guys do nothing at all basically in the same league when they are on the floor, then see Kavvadas out of shape instantly start dominating when he is on the floor in the same league.
But Saric and Gobert are first rounders in every mock and Kavvadas can't even appear on any mocks. Too bad for Kavvadas, the beast, that he has lighter skin color than Gobert and lighter hair color than Saric..............otherwise this physical beast might actually get drafted.
Here we again!
You don't understand the whole concept of NBA prospects do you? Get off this website.
No one cares about a guys average per 40 min. jesus
please stop im seriously starting to wonder if youre mentally ill
@ European Baller: I would love to see your mockdraft! But remember: Players from Greek don' t get drafted ... :D :D :D
Maybe if he stops being Greek, he'll get drafted.
he capitalized dominated and beast twice, this guy MUST be good.
Andzejs Pasecniks is averaging 80 pts per 40 min!!!!!!!!!!!!! Watch out Cody Zeller.
on 7 of 7 shooting, 1rb 1ast 1st 1blk 4to 3fouls in 17 mins.
Definitely a lotto pick, maybe top 5.
How do you know if any of these Greek superstars would even come to the US to play if they were drafted? Should NBA teams use a draft pick on them and THEN see if they would come here to play? They may not want to try out with out a guaranteed contract or roster spot, which NBA teams only give to first round picks. They may be able to make more (Euros, drachma, seashells, or whatever passes for) money in Greece.
I vote to block euroballers IP address so that dumb posts are no longer made on here. I don't really give a crap about some obscure greek player who he thinks is a great player, clearly they aren't. They are on nobodys radar and the international scouts find some really obscure players.
Kavvadas is 21 and plays 8 minutes a game for Panionos. No doubt, he must be a top talent.
