 Ante Tomic didn’t want the Jazz money so it looks like Neto and soon Tibor Pleiss will be getting it.

Jazz have plenty of depth now, Tibor as a backup to Gobert will keep a lot of height on the floor.  I am assuming some jokes from The Simpsons about Tibor will also flourish in Utah.

The Jazz are three deep at every spot, although if they are going to make the playoffs then Hayward, Favors and Gobert have to be big stars.  

The Jazz did lose Jeremy Evans as a free agent, nobody really noticed him anyway except for dunk contests.  

For those keeping score at home, Tibor would be the first German to play for the Jazz.  Raul Lopez of Spain might be the only Spanish Jazz player so far, and Neto is probably going to be better than Lopez was for them.

Portland and Dallas losing players, maybe Utah will get into the playoffs this season.

I have to completely disagree with this statement. I know you need stars to win a ring, but you don’t need stars to make the playoffs.  I live in SLC and it’s a GREAT place to live… Everyone here is nice and you don’t have to worry about getting mugged like you do in NYC or Detroit. The reason players don’t come here is that it’s not a big city like LA so they don’t really want to come here.

Also, I wouldn’t get too caught up in crime statistics. NYC is a very vast and diverse town. Most areas here are quite safe, actually.

 It depends on what kind of an environment you want to live in, if you want a more quiet , peaceful , family oriented environment SLC is as good a place as you can find BUT if you want night life and a party environment SLC is not the place to live.  A lot of players want the nightlife/party environment and that is a big part of the reason for SLC having the reputation it has.

 Jazz have stupid managers, and bad European scouts, just like most NBA teams. You can find much better point guards and centers than those two in Europe. Not that they are bad players. Peiss is a good finisher in pick and roll and his size can alter some shots. And Neto is a decent point guard.

But still….my goodness, you can find soooooooooooooo many better players than both of them at their positions in Europe. Especially in the case of Neto. It really is pathetic the jobs that some of these people do that work in some of these NBA teams.
