Soooooo many rumors… Philly offering #3+#10+Thaddeus for #1 or Magic offering #4+#12+Affalo for #1 or the Boston offer.. Bullshiet. The Cavs GM himself said they never got anything near the offers that were being rumored out there.

What made this draft so intriguing beyond the depth of excellent prospects was all the rumors we kept hearing about trades. The only one that was reported for a while and went thru was Chicago trading #16+#19 for Nuggets #11.. Thats it.

I think most GM’s were too insecure to trade out of there spot to try and make a homerun move. I cant blame most of them, the draft had pretty good potential players go undrafted!

What ended up last night with the lack of mega or even minor trades happening is exactly why i got tired of reading alleged trade rumors. So many of them, made my head spin. And all of it for nothing. All the pundits kept saying as well they don’t know where all these rumors are coming from and that the’re false. Like i thought, some websites just trying to get eyeballs on their websites and increase traffic flow=$. The major 2 trades happened with the Knicks-Dallas deal and the Affalo deal, those weren’t even rumored to be out there and came in as a huge surprise to all.

Surprised by the lack of trades last night?

David Griffin is full of it when he says the Cavs didn’t get reported trade offers. The Sixers and Utah were confirmed by legit media outlets,  not rumored. I wasn’t that surprised by the lack of trade action because this draft is SO deep and talented, there will be 10-15 year vets that were picked in the 2nd round
