UNC vs Duke?

Although they are no longer in college who gets the starting job in Indiana at the PF spot, Tyler Hansbrough or Josh McRoberts?

McRoberts keeps improving, a

McRoberts keeps improving, a couple years ago I thought he was a sure fire career 12th man, but he's improved every summer and proved he can be a servicable role player who doesn't try to do too much when Indiana had all their injuries last year. That being said, Hansbrough is the better talent, he's stronger grittier and has a great motor, somthing I think Indiana needs at that spot. He's a more talented basketball player too , IMO. I think Hansbrough gets it if he stays healthy, but I could see McRoberts chipping in 14-18 minutes off the bench for 6 pts 4 rbs and few mistakes.

I also hated both of these men in college. just sayin.

really dont know

i honestly wouldnt be suprised if they alternate starting spots based on matchups. i mean neither guy is jus head and shoulders better than the other. both have good attributes that the other doesnt have. its a toss up for me

^i agree a little off toopic

^i agree

a little off toopic but

i saw josh mcroberts in person against ga tech his freshman year, and his handles are REALLY underrated, i watched him cross up a guard and a sf (one after the other) on a fast break

I agree 100% with that. That's exactly how it should be handled. But neither is more than a true 2nd team player though.

personally i think 9pts and

personally i think 9pts and 5reb in 17 min for a rookie pf is damn good. he scored about as much as taj and was a rebound or 2 shy of his reb total. you know hes gonna work very hard when hes out there and he can hit the mid range jumper consistantly
Mcroberts on the other hand has never shown to be nothing more then a back up pf at best so i dont see how any one can consider starting him. Something tells me people are gonna have the josh mcroberst fever because of summe rleauge or open gym and thinks he just needs to play somewhere else in order to show how good he is. i call it the darko effect

As a Duke fan, McRoberts

As a Duke fan, McRoberts should have stayed another season in college. He messed up.

I think Hansbrough will get this spot hands down.

Mr.Knick why Wojo? i think

Mr.Knick why Wojo?

i think Steve Wojciechowski being dukes big man coach didnt help him much. I have always wondered why Coach K doesnt look for somebody that was actually a big man to do, or at the least help with this job.

Hansbrough

It depends on his health. He has some kind of whacky inner ear infection and loses his balance.

If healthy it is absolutely Hansbrough because he fits the lineup. Granger and Dunleavy are more ball dominant players, which plays to Hansbrough because he has never been an offdribble player. Niether Dunleavy nor Hibbert, nor McRoberts for that matter, are high motor guys, so they need to put a garbage guy in there to match everybody elses finesse scoring.
