Udonis Haslem is My Kind of Player

I have to admire Haslem and not because he returned to the Heat for less money. Face it guys, he knows Miami will be the center of attention next year which means everyone on the team benefits. Although I still believe Miami won't win a championship, being part of that team will bring notoriety and money because they will go far into the playoffs.

The reason I admire Haslem is the fact that he had a very limited skill set when he came into the league and worked extremely hard to make himself a better player. When he came out of college, I never thought for a moment he could be a starter in the NBA. He definitely proved me wrong!

Haslem has always been loyal

Haslem has always been loyal to the Heat ..He appreciate the fact that they signed him...They gave him a chance when nobody drafted him..Scouts said he was not athletic, too slow & had no post game ..I hope his loyalty is rewarded with a ring...

I Like This

I like this story. You take a guy who basically worked his butt off to get in the league and eventually turned himself into a big part of a championship team. Like Wade, he has been there through the good and the bad and it looks like they will be going for more good times.

WOW...

One more sign of collusion... while it's not direct evidence, David Stern will be taking notice.

Haslem

Haslem is being paid... he's a good guy but Pat Riley has done this same type of thing years ago with Juwan Howard (Signing was cancelled by Stern). Riley has just adjusted his methods (sign and trades) to try and pass the "NBA Smell Test". I couldn't care less about Miami buying their way to the finals... it's just too many coincidences to be believed that all of these signings happened without collusion.
