New Orleans' head coach Monty Williams likes to simulate NBA physical play in the Hornets' workouts.
Udoh vs. coach Monty
Wow. He couldn't even hit a jumper on Monty?
Good Thing Golden State has him as the frontrunner as the 6th pick!
Monty was a SF too.
Udoh's supposed to be a PF.
lmao, thats crazy
Monty shut him down, bigtime...
I've never seen a coach do that, Monty's gonna be a tough ass coach
Had em on lock!
Eh, that's not a good way to go into the draft, but I doubt it affects him much. I know Monty played in the league and isn't that old, but even with the physicality, coach is still letting him catch the ball. Udoh's athleticism should allow him to get off better shots at will, assuming he's been told to only shoot jumpers. Who knows, the guy just may need to get stronger and get some better coaching. I haven't seen enough of him to know.
Based on the interview afterwards, this was his 12th and last workout. It also sounded like he's sick or something. He was probably just worn out.
Everybody knows he needs to work on his lower body strength though.
rofl wow. He tried just running away from the contact to shoot mid range jumpers no team wants him for that. Sorry Udoh you're not reggie miller
Yeah, you can tell he was a bit tired, and it does look like he was limited to Jumpers, cuz he definitely can blow byt Monty Williams. But Monty definitely gave him a hard time though
