UCLA vs VILLANOVA ..lets get ready to rummmmmbbbbbllllllleee
fields exceeded most peoples expectations but only a few of us considered him a first round talent who was gonna be a rotational player. i didnt think he would start but i did say he would beat out bill walker and could be the backup small forward because i watched alot of his games and knew his game translated well to the nba
good game perez....we had our fun smack, but you guys were there the whole game for being as young as you are. If Josh Smith can stay out of foul trouble that guy is a beast, he's got size, nimble feet and moves around the basket...Honeycutt was pretty impressive too.
Glad to see Yarou grab 17/18 boards whatever it was, Wayns and Fish disected the UCLA d as I expected, our bigs had problems finishing around the rim which got pretty annoying......we did get the better whistle, even as a homer I can admit that.
oh well now on to Tennessee..... good luck hope UCLA wins out, gotta make that Nova resume look better =}
"but only a few of us considered him a first round talent who was gonna be a rotational player."
NOBODY said he was a 1st round prospect. Let's not pat our backs too hard. Nobody was calling him a 1st round pick. Nobody even mentioned him really until the Knicks passed Lance Stephenson to get him.
thanks for being a good sport and not rubbing it in. Tongight, i lick my wounds. But tommorow, im gonna be calling out those jayhawk fans. We got them coming up and we gonna run those fools.
i metioned him a few times saying he was the bes tplayer in the pac 10 and wondered why no one seemed to know about him. But i never called him a first rounder. Although thats partly becasue i was brainwashed by all the draft sites ignoring him and i figured they must be right.
"i metioned him a few times saying he was the bes tplayer in the pac 10 and wondered why no one seemed to know about him."
Because the Pac-10 was horrible last year, and most of the users on here are from the East. So nobody went out of their way to watch Pac-10 basketball. Especially a team like Stanford that sucked and was never on nat'l TV.
I don't remember you saying that honestly. Even we were talking draft talk, I don't remember once you talking about him after that Stanford game.
Noone thought he was a 1st round pick. Let's not lie now...
i know washingotn just lost back to back to kentucky and michigan state, but they are gonna be a hell of a team this year. They had halftime leads in both games and lost them in the final minutes. They are defenitely the class of the pac 10 this year.
im still looking for where i said hes aa first round talent
mr knicks you must really have a bad memory if you dont remember me talking about fields.. maybe this link will refresh youre memory
LOL, keep looking my friend. Keep looking.
Eventually ill find. after reading that post a couple of people on here need to rethink there talent evaluation obviously, especially for a player that y'all haven't watched much. its no shame to say "i haven't seen him much so I'm not sure what he can do"
Just like there's no shame in saying "I didn't say Landry Fields was a 1st round talent"
