Watching game and its only a exhibition but I’m still not impressed by the Wear twins (combined 2-8/3reb and 4pts) They don’t look any different from the last time i saw them in a UNC uniform and neither has shown they can guard a Sf (the Sf on the other team is having his way with 8points in 10min so far). Josh Smith came off the bench and has been drawing fouls ever since he has been in the game which is a very good sign. He has 12 points and if it wasn’t for him they would be down 10 (they are up 5 with 3min to go in the half).  Laz Jones  Smith ,Nelson are looking good

Two best players on the floor is Nelson and Smith and its not even close. If Smith can stay on the floor he is gonna be a BIG problem. Nelson is killing the boards as well as scoring. Wear twins still look the same. Not horrible but not difference makers either, just regular Pac-12 forwards with nothing about them that makes you say "wow" or " these guy’s are the truth". As long as they can be average this team will be a problem.

Everybody knows Nelson and smith are the main guys for ucla. U continue to bash the wear twins but nobody wants anything more then maybe 5 ppg and 15 minutes off the bench from each. U act like ucla supporters are leaning on the wear twins to succeed which they aren’t.

And I just looked at the box score. The wear twins combined for 19 points while Josh smith got 26 and reeves Nelson had a double double with 16 and 10. Sounds like bruin bigs did exactly what they are expected to do

Actually Bruins fans are leaning on them to be very good. Might wanna check out UCLA forums on Scout.com  I watched the game didn’t just look at the box score and it told another story. You’re right about the 5ppg thing but you’re one of the few fans that don’t expect more. Many people are talking " one of the best front courts in the nation" because of the additions of the Wear twins but that’s just not the case. Maybe you skimmed through what i had wrote but i never said the Bruins didn’t do what they were supposed to do (although they should have blown that team out they were pretty bad) but its better than losing to a bad way lower talented team like other teams have done so far.
