Tyler ennis a little bigger, and plays in a good system . Will get more PT then Tyus right now , and have more established players who know their roles a little better than the wolves.

Tyler Ennis is a great player, but I think Jones will be better in the long run. I disagree with prophetmeir about Jones not getting more playing time than Ennis, I think that with the way Rubio has been going down a lot, he’s bound for an injury this season and many seasons to come, that should give Jones quite a bit of playing time. With Rubio being injury prone, their most common lineup will likely include Jones and so I think he’ll get more playing time and get better. BTW numbers guy, I like that you made this post a little more understandable.

I was struggling to find a player to compare both of them to but this sounds spot on.

I think Jones.  Partially because Ennis showed very little at the NBA level last season and partially because Jones probably is a better perimeter shooter, although Ennis has improved his stroke.  Both have issues scoring in the lane that will be problems for them, though.  Jones is just a safer bet to become a great perimeter shooter at the NBA level, being a better shooter from downtown and the FT line in college.  And Jones seems to have a knack for drawing fouls.

Ennis also suffered a torn labrum, so he may need more time to develop than previously thought, especially after his poor rookie season.  He is also stuck behind MCW, Greivis Vasquez and Jerryd Bayless in Milwaukee.  Jones really only has to compete with Lorenzo Brown for the backup minutes behind Rubio and both of them could share the court some due to Rubio’s size and Jones’ willingness to paly off-the-ball.

I’d say Jones. I feel hes a better perimeter shooter and slightly better finisher around the basket. Plus I think he will get more of an opportunity to play right away in Minnesota, which could speed his development.

Tyus Jones stinks. I have no idea how he went in the first round.
