whats up w/ the neg, i'm just sharing news from the local beat writer. I don't agree that the Kings should be looking to dump Tyreke tho. He's a team player and still has room for improvement.

Ray Allen and Greg Stiemsma

Ray Allen and Greg Stiemsma for Tyreke and Hassan Whiteside. Then, the celts can trade rondo for value that is not a point guard

he plays the 'dominate

he plays the 'dominate whoever guards me' position, their are 2 things bad with his game. can't shoot, and isn't a vocal leader.

I don't think you give up

I don't think you give up Evans this early, you got a good young core that you need to continue to develope.

Sidenote: Big ups to Whiteside, that kids got his first NBA bucket lastnight if I'm not mistaken. Kid is tall with length, I want to see him get some more minutes for development. No reason he can't be a Javale McGee type.

@chilbert arenas

whiteside can be a javale mcgee type player with javale mcgee smarts lol

in regards to the rumor you gotta let the reke& cousins experiment play out otherwise you can be kicking yourself in the ass in the next couple of years especially if reke develops a jumper

Hm

I don't like the thought of Reke leaving so soon. But its evident with the play of Thomas, Evans is no point guard. Its weird, he's got so many skills, but no position. There's a problem with his over all game though, he can't shoot for &$#%#&@!. Regardless, Evans is a lottery pick. Kings better get something of equal value or more for Evans. The guy has flaws, but very few can stop him from getting to the rim on a consistent basis.

Whiteside reminded of Sammy

Whiteside reminded of Sammy Dalembert in every way at Marshall. I think he eventually becomes a decent shot blocking big.

And Tyreke Evans does have a position, he's a guard. Even more then that he's a great young basketball player. If the Sixers didn't have Turner I'd be wanting them to jump all over this, but seeing how Turner is used with Collins because he can't shoot, makes me wonder how much time Evans would get. 'Reke would be suffer from the same problems Turner is in Philly because he can't shoot either, so he'd be coming off the bench behind Holiday, Meeks, Williams, and Young too. And since 'Reke is more turnover prone and isn't as good as a defender he'd probably be stuck behind Turner too.

I'd still love to see them bring 'Reke home for Iggy. Iggy would be a perfect fit with the Kings and would definitly add a bunch of wins to that team just playing his all around game.

Um...

I think Tyreke is extremely overrated... And have been for a while now... He holds the ball too damn long and is one of the most selfish players in the league... He's a s hitty LeBron in a way... The difference is LeBron actually won games while holding the ball like that... Tyreke don't... He's not efficient, its no way I'll trade Iggy for Tyreke... The best place for Tyreke is as a 6th man like Crawford or Jason Terry... An inefficient ball stopper??? Who in the hell want that??? Tyreke is just getting opportunity buckets... He isn't a star in the making nor is he a realible 2 or 3 option... He's someone you plug into the line-up to get quick points... That's it...

Perhaps Granger? Kings get

Perhaps Granger? Kings get vet and at position they need and Pacers could get SG that can create his own, allowing George to play SF.

I love what the Kings have

I love what the Kings have going over here, and they have at least one or two more years before Tyreke'll be a UFA, and they'll have a top 5 pick this year. Isaiah Thomas, Evans, with Cousins, Hayes, Thompson, Hickson and Whiteside in the frontcourt, alog with hoping that Jimmer develops, and potenially a Harrison Barnes, how do you just pass that up?

I Cousins can stay on the floor for 33 minutes and improves his shot selection, he is easily a 21 and 12 player within the next two years. Tyreke's main problem is obvious, his position. If they can groom him into a wing player whether it a be a SG or a SF, that can give you 20, 5, and 5, than that would be great for them. I think he's a great player, but I didn't buy into all of the Superstar hype even after his stellar rookie season. Nonetheless he is a great young guys that still has a chance to be a perenial All-Star. Then you have Isaiah Thomas, who has been streaking as of late. I don't expect him to continue his 18 and 7 pace, but 14 and 6 from Mr. Irrelevant would not be a bad deal at all. Then you have the willy nilly vets, Chuck Hayes is a usefull do it all hard working big guy, unfortunatly at this point, John Salmons is basically useless, same with Travis Outlaw, JJ Hickson is still young, not gonna be a star, but a productive big off the bench, Jason Thompson is another decent big, and Marcus Thorton was a big steal for them, but he is undersized and doesn't shoot the highest percentage.

The biggest problem with the Kings and expecially the bigs is that they don't shoot a high percentage. But they have some good pieces, but they need Cousins to dominate, Evans to score, Thomas to run the point, Jimmer to shoot, and if they get one more guy this year, this team could be very, very dangerous, but they need to play team basketball. If Rick Adelman was coaching this team they'd have a better record than the Lakers.

no team will win a

no team will win a championship with Evans in the starting lineup, why would you want to trade for him? If he's at PG he doesn't pass and if he's at SG he can't shoot. He just isn't a good fit in any championship caliber team. He has no role!

Maybe Ellis for Evans, Green

Maybe Ellis for Evans, Green and Hayes? I know an Evans, Curry combo would not really be an upgrade from an Ellis, Curry combo but the value is about even and who knows what Evans would do in Golden States offense.

Philly is winning so Iggy is not going to be traded for an inconsistant injury prone prospect with a bad attitude.

Same goes for Indiana and Granger.

Winning teams will not trade winning players for Evans. Maybe Sacramento takes a shot at Williams/or Howard and try to resign one. Anything is possible and yet the most rational explanation is that this tweet is all just a big chunk of doo doo.

But still speculation is fun...Pau Gasol?

Actually a deal for Rondo is

Actually a deal for Rondo is smart for both teams if Rajon really is such a headache for Boston. Sacramento can toss them a handful of prospects/picks and Evans for Rondo. He isnt a PG but he is young talented and not too expensive. He shows Boston fans they will be going young and keeps value in Boston while moving Rondo the negative influence.

Evans/Hickson for B. Jennings/Stephen Jax

Good deal for both teams:

Bucks- With the way Udrih/Livingston is playing, I think they can move Jennings who isn't committed to staying in Milwaukee. Udrih/Livingston aren't great, but they can man the point while Milwaukee drafts a pg and develops him. Evans I believe can develop a jumper and will be a very good shooting guard. On this team full of defenders, theyll be better off having their go to scorer as their 2g instead of their pg. Kings also shopping Hickson....Bucks have the rest of the year to decide if he's the PF theyve been wanted to pair with Bogut.

Kings- Isiah is doing much better than expected, but he isn't the future at the point. Jennings/Cousins is a great pg/c combo to build around. Stephen Jax wants a trade from Milwaukee and can also man the 3 and has a deal that expires next year.

Kings have talent

The kings have a lot of talent in cousins and Evans and marcus thornton but they just wasted a pick on jimmer and wasted money on John salmons. If they trade Evans it should be for a pure point guard and maybe a wing. I don't think isaiah Thomas is the future point guard for them and they have no wings so maybe they can draft one or the other but I say they keep Evans and just trade down to get Kendall Marshall. If they do that this would be their lineup
Pg: Kendall Marshall
Sg: Tyreke Evans
Sf: Donte Green (wait until 2013 draft to get a decent SF)
Pf: Jason Thompson
C: DeMarcus Cousins
I think this trade might work to trade down with the Jazz because they also have the Warriors first round pick
Marcus Thornton and 2012 first round pick
For
Gordon Hayward and Utah's 2012 first round pick
The Jazz get a backcourt scorer that they do not have at all and maybe a wing like MKG with the pick. The Kings get a decent wing with potential and can use the pick to get Kendall Marshall.
Just a thought...

Tyreke for Brandon

Tyreke for Brandon Jennings...love it. One mediocre overrated young player for another. Win-win.

There is an unusual amount of love for both of these players all over this forum. Both could be useful in the right situation...but not as a #1 option, and probably not as a #2 on a good team.
