JNixonParticipantFor all the talent on the UNC squad, and the hyped up young players like Ed Davis and John Henson, the guy that is the most likely to surprisae and break out is Tyler Zeller. He’s long, explosive and athletic and as he continues to polish his skill set, he has the chance to be a very interesting NBA prospect. I like his game alot.

td8118ParticipantYeah hes good….I could see him playing like a Javale McGee in that he runs the court well and is a very long and athletic big man…he also has range out to the college 3….He looks like a pro to me

QHaynes20didnt he grow like 3 inches? He’s 7-0 now but he was like 6-9, 6-10 last year.
I agree. He can be like McGee or even depending on how much he plays, he can be like a poor’s man Bogut. I think he’s that talented.

td8118ParticipantI’m pretty sure he was a 7 footer last year….he never really had a chance to prove himself with that lineup and his injury though and has kind of flown under the radar…In my mind hes a way better prospect then BJ Mullens

JNixonParticipantYea he was 7 feet last year. But I thought he was going to emerge over Ed Davis last year actually, but he broke his foot of course..

IndianaBasketballParticipantZeller, another Indiana guy I got to watch play during summer ball, is the real deal. He’s everything you said plus. He’s going to surprised a lot of people this year. I think he has a future in the NBA for sure.

marcusfizer21ParticipantPeople at first glance may think he’s just another college guy or even a paperboy but at 7’0 and skills that he has, he will be a guy to look at this coming year for the Tar Heels… He wasn’t able to really explode last year due to injuries and that deep roster that they had but this year is his year to shine…
