AdamJCallejaParticipantThis kid just played the whole second half in a great win @ Georgia. He is a stud and the epitome of a floor general, can’t wait to see the player he becomes by the time he is a Junior. Does anybody see him making an NBA roster. I think if Casper Ware can do it he can do it.

rickybobbyParticipantHe’s definitely got the talent to make the league, whenever he’s done in college, the only question would be his size, but we’ve seen many small guards make it in the league and I believe he could be another. During the aau circut and his senior year he outplayed pretty much all the top guards including Tyus Jones, and made big leaps in the rankings. If he would have chose another school where he could’ve started or gotten more playing time like a Michgan St he would be considered one of the top guards in the country right now. And with Isiah Briscoe coming in next yr he gonna be splitting time again. But yea he got the total package and could play in the league at some point.

phila9012ParticipantYeah, I see him like a isaiah thomas with more playmaking and less scoring. I think he could have an 8 to 10 year career in the NBA. It is hard when you are small to be able to play much past 30 when you are a small guard.

kazamParticipantI understand the Thomas comparison because of their size and body type similarity but I think it pretty well stops there. Thomas is an absolute ball stopper. With Ullis on the floor the ball moves so well for Kentucky. He has the unquantifiable quality of getting "it".

Pistol Pete. The PelicanParticipantI was going to post a topic about him today, even though he’s only 5’9", I would definitely want him on my team. Like you said, he played the entire 2nd half in a tough game against Georgia and controlled the show, He didn’t score any points, he had 4 assists and 5 rebounds, but he didn’t have any turnovers, he got the team in their sets, he settled down the Harrison twins, he made a great pick and roll wrap around pass to Karl Towns. He also played amazing defense. The defense really impressed me.
It’s crazy to come away so impressed by a player in a game where he scored zero points. Now let’s look at this, he isn’t the spectacular athlete that Nate Robinson or Isaiah Thomas is, he isn’t going to be a spark plug scorer, but he’s a true point guard through and through, he reminds me of Chris Paul, how he impacts the game in so many ways, and he doesn’t have to just score, even though he has shown this season that he can.

imAboutDatActionParticipantHe has the full package. Its just going to take him until his SR. season to learn how to score against bigger opponents.
He’s NBA bound. Its just going to take years to get the consistent scoring down pat and be able to run the show at Kentucky.
He’s so smart and skilled, its hard not to come away impressed with him.

ncballerThis kid is special. He is a better shooting, shorter Ed Cota. I’d take him anyday.
