Tyler Ennis
Never seen Barber play so I won't comment on him but i've always felt two PGs were very underrated and that was Nigel Williams-Goss and Tyler Ennis. Nigel is not getting his recognition as he's been going way up in the rankings but Ennis is still ranked pretty low though. He should have made the McDonalds game and shoul be ranked much higher than he is now. Hopefully either he moves up the rankings or comes to syracuse and has a huge impact because with triche gone and MCW likely gone he has a chance to be an impact player from day 1.
NWG and Ennis are actually very similar. Those types of PGs are consistently underrated by scouting services because they don't blow people away with their physical attributes. Neither are particularly quick, fast or explosive but both are strong with very good size for the position and they are very polished. They're so advanced for their age in terms of understanding the game that they can get more done with less effort and without forcing the issue as much as guys like Barber, who I agree, did not deserve to be on the team.
Barber is a hometown kid and I'm shocked that he made it over Ennis also. He was unguardable in the EYBL though BUT the kid has zero game outside of blowing past people for layups. Been watching him play for years and he still hasn't developed any kind of jump shot nor shown a real ability to be a true point guard. Hopefully at NC State he's taught how to run an offense and shooting jumpers.
Last night I saw him go for 28 against my old HS (minus Troy Williams who's at Oak Hill, of course) and he just looked like a good HS player, nothing elite forreal. I love seeing Hampton city people making moves but I'm still up in the air about Cat.

After being snubbed from the McDonald's game Ennis goes off for 53 points. He scored 25 points in the third quarter.
