I wrote a post a while ago asking if Ty would ever be an all-star.  He is not going to ever start as long as Paul is in the West, but I really like his game.  I was skeptical about him coming out of college since he’s only 5-11, but his speed and quickness is off the charts.  I don’t think anybody can stay in front of him.  He’s a notch below Rose and Westbrook in terms of vertical explosiveness, but he can still get up and finish and is incredibnly strong.  Anybody else like his game?

 Jup, like his game a lot. He’s fearless getting the ball to the basket, but the nice thing on Lawson is that he doesn’t loose his teammates out of sight (like Banks, Marcus). This Denver team is one of my favorite teams to watch, unfortunately they aren’t really build for halfcourt play off basketball.

 He is always going to be a defensive mis-match for teams because of his height and short arms but , he is fast and really good at jumping passing lanes and offensively when it comes to efficiency there are not more than 3 or 4 guys who in my eyes are better.  I actually like him as a scorer better than Rose and Westbrook because he is a better shooter , and doesn’t have a tendency to take many bad shots like Rose and Westbrook can at times.  Plus being 5’11 would make you think he would struggle going to the rim but , being 200lbs he is stronger than people think.  Lawson could of made an excellent RB if he would of played football.
