Trust the Process! Lololol

Where are all the Sam Hinkie Fanboys at?! This Team is a bunch of mismatched pieces. These guys cant shoot to save their life, Markelle Fultz looks overrated as predicted and a kid in the special olympics could probably beat Ben Simmons in a game of Horse.

You doing too much..making

You doing too much..making all these speculations off the pre-season??? Derek Rose had a terrible summer league and pre-season as a rookie and once was a baadddd man on the court. Relax and "trust the process" and I'm not even a Sixers fan but I think they can compete for the 8th seed in the terrible East...

All this misery for an 8th

All this misery for an 8th seed in the Playoffs.. This team looks awful in preseason and literally has no identity.. Danny Ainge rebuilt the Celtics in half the time.. The Sixers shouldn't be 0-3 with the draft picks on the roster.. go look at the FG% of this squad its awful.. Im going to make a ton of money betting against this teams success this season;)

Embiid hasn't played a game

Embiid hasn't played a game yet. He will drag defenders from the lane and allow Ben to make plays in the paint. The three things that bother me more than anything are the FT shooting of Ben and Markelle and Fultz with the spin move. I would rather see a power dribble with a euro step or a pull up J. Anyway Robb, you are giving an extremely hot take on a starting line-up that consisted of Stauskas and Okafor. If you are going to talk shit on the process then at least wait till Sixers Celts next Friday.

I know this is no surprise but Embiid is currently injured. Hes not cleared to participate in a competitive game. When is this guy going to be healthy?

Just saying any other

Just saying any other franchise wouldnt be doing this stuff. It wouldnt just be okay for every player they draft to injure themselves or be drafted injured without even playing an NBA game. If that happened in Toronto the entire fanbase would be protesting marching around the Air Canada Center trying to get the entire coaching and medical staff fired. Thats the thing I dont understand. Why is it just a normal thing that Noel, Okafor, Embiid, Simmons and now even Fultz have been flustered with injuries? Maybe somebody should be monitoring thier workout/eating habits a bit better I dont know Im not an expert but I doubt any expert would say professionals would allow every single lottery pick to get injured that often. Saric stayed healthy but he came over as a pro not a rookie ball player who is following the 76ers workout regiment.

They keep drafting injured

They keep drafting injured players. Okafor has been nursing knee issues since the end of his rookie season and Simmons had a freak injury. Noel, Embiid and Fultz were all injured in college. Noel and Embiid slid in the draft due to their injuries. I agree with Robb C when it comes to Fultz. Didn't think he was the best player in the draft and really might not be able to play with Simmons. Watch for Bayless to start the year and Fultz to play only about 20 minutes a game.

I don't understand why

I don't understand why Markelle decided to change his shot right before the season. His confidence shooting jumpers is completely gone. Last night the form on his free throws was completely different from the way he shot them in college.

It was apparently due to a shoulder injury. It's clearly still bothering him and messing with his confidence.

I heard that too and if

I heard that too and if that's true he shouldn't have been playing last night. But the shoulder injury isn't the only reason for his confidence issues. All through camp there has been talk and video of him being reluctant to shoot jumpers.

Fultz never played against

Fultz never played against any talent in college and his team was awful. He was so much more talented than his competition . Now he's playing against talented players and he looks average. It's not just his shot mechanics he looks like a boy out there.

Sidenote If he is a bust what are the chances that philly trade goes down as one of the worst ever. Tatum who looks like a future star and Bagley Or ayton with that lakers pick looks like a lot for Fultz.

All my posts about Fultz are

All my posts about Fultz are well documented on here and I even forecasted him as nothing more than Monta Ellis on the next level.. never saw the hype on the kid. Josh Jackson should've been the number 1 pick..

In the GM survey, GMs are picking Josh Jackson as the best player from this draft 5 years from now.

Through the first 3 years of

Through the first 3 years of their careers... Greg Oden played in 51 more games than Embiid. THAT IS INSANE!

I am hopeful he does because I love the guy but the odds that he remains healthy are not something that I would bet on. Well I would, but I would bet against him staying healthy.

What the &$#%#[email protected]! did Fultz do to his shot? And why hasn't he seen enough to know by now that he should revert to what it was before. Holy hell what a stupid decision. I was a big fan of his in college but nothing he has done has led me to believe he has what it takes to be an elite talent. Terrible diet, his body is still doughy and getting doughier. Changes his shot mechanics without any input from the coaching staff or organization (Brett Brown was as surprised as we are). Hasn't won at any level and doesn't really seem to care.

stupid

This was a stacked draft, you got guys like Jordan Bell and Kuzma looking really good. You got Tatum and Jackson and Smith Jr and Fox etc, yet the Sixers still went up and traded from 3 to 1, giving up a lot.

Either the Sixers org is an entire organization full of morons none of whom has the eye for talent like you do, or the kid displayed some abilities in college that made him worthy of #1 of a group of studs.

Fultz can shoot from all 3 areas and he was doing as much from the high school all star games and continued it in college maintained it in summer league.

Obviously something isn't right with his shot, clearly you would agree its not the same as it was since we've seen him to this point. You think its suddenly because "he sucks" and "looks like a boy".

The kid is young he's only 18. The only thing I worry about is his body, he seems injury prone but he's also 18 playing against grown men.

What he still posseses is an EASY ability to get to the rim and score. He does it with his hesitations and timing. He does it EASY. Once he gets his confidence in his shot back, you will see teams not playing off him and he will be able to attack and dish in the paint. You need to relax. The kid is 18 and does things a lot of guys in this draft cannot do.

Tatum wasn't impressive at all yesterday either. Tatum is a midrange player who can get his shot off, but I'll wait until the all-star break before I finally conclude what type of player he is.

Boston looks a lot better than Philly right now. Even the bench everyone can shoot and is well-built. Everyone on Philly looks weak-framed or has some obvious glaring deficiency.

Simmons right now CANNOT shoot. Teams play off him and totally stack the paint, and this will happen with Embiid in the lineup.

There is no spacing right now with the Sixers. Their #1 picks have a lot to improve on.

Ben Simmons ain't no Lebron James. I still remember James' first game in the NBA where he dropped I think 23 and I remember saying "he is really good".

Simmons right now his free throw shot is trash, and anything other than him finishing with his right hand at the rim is pretty horrible. How do you work out and train and put 100s of videos on instagram and dedicate your life to this trade and be a #1 pick but still not be able to shoot a free throw? Its amazing.

Anyway, the hope is that they develop in 2 or 3 years. Their bodies need to develop. But this is no D-Wade or Lebron moment for me where the first time i see them in an NBA game I go "yeah they're HOF'ers".

I'm worried. But I saw Fultz up close live and he has some crazy athleticism, dude was doing windmill dunks easy. Match that up with his shooting ability (that he had in college), and he has shown flashes of why he was #1.

I liked Josh Jackson a lot but with Jackson it woudl've been the same story as Fultz, only Fultz has proven he can score. Tatum has a nice baseline but let's see how much better he gets.

So yeah, overreact if you want. I'm not that happy with Simmons and his inability to post-up a smaller guard, but you have to believe in a year or two when he becomes more of a man and develops a post-up, jump hook, and jump-stop jumper he will be a more complete player, and a mismatch nightmare. I hope that in 3 years Terry Rozier will NOT be able to guard Ben Simmons in the post.

Ben's got a lot to work on so does Fultz. TJ McConnell and Amir Johnson looked like their only true NBA player by far yesterday and that ain't saying much. They have a lot of holes.

Embiid's contract has protections but the team is different with him. Sorry, Aron Baynes is going to foul out fast, and Horford and Tishe and Yabusele will not be able to do what they do against Embiid. Shane Larkin ain't getting clear paths to the basket with Embiid there.

But damn man, Okafor looks bad. So slow to react, a terrible paint presence.

I could talk about this team forever. Lastly, their guards with a non-shooting Fultz, are limited and suck. I still like Reddick, but Korkmaz is soft, and Bayless, Stauskas, and TLC cannot hit shots consistently, and come off as weak.

Jaylen Brown and TLC came into the league together. Look at Brown's body vs TLC.

The Sixers are soft and need a lot of time to develop. I'm just surprised at how Boston still has youth on their squad but Yabusele and Ojeleye were roughing up the Sixers. Its just sad how much development Philly needs to do, but let's see.

If Embiid is healthy they have a shot at playoffs, if not, no chance. They're like the Kings and Suns right now without Embiid, a lot of projects and new faces still learning to ball.

I predict the Sixers will

I predict the Sixers will struggle for the first 30 or so games. Chemistry issues with new players. You have Simmons, Fultz and Embiid all thinking its their team and they are the alpha dog

If Simmons or Fultz think

If Simmons or Fultz think they are the "alpha dog," I predict disaster. It's quite possible neither of them are even the third best player on this team.

This is all about Embiid. He's the alpha dog. If he can play 30 minutes a night for 70 games, he can lead a core of Covington, Redick, Saric, Amir Johnson and McConnell to the 8th seed. Simmons and Fultz could just be nice complimentary guys for now.

Without Embiid, Simmons and Fultz could put up stats, but the team won't win 30 games. Rookies, even really good rookies who go on to become great, hardly ever produce a bunch of wins.

Agree Embiid is the Alpha,

Agree Embiid is the Alpha, which is great news for Simmons. Simmons will be able to be himself, no pressure to score.

30 minutes in 70 games? Thats

30 minutes in 70 games? Thats pushing it. He has never played 30 minutes in a game and only played 31 games last season.
