Naturally, the top 19 players in the NBA in FG percentage are bigs. The first guard to appear on the list comes in at No. 20 and is the only guard in the league shooting over 50 percent from the field.

My guess would’ve been Steph Curry or Tony Parker, but it is actually Goran Dragic. Here are the top 10 guards (and I will include SFs):

    1. Dragic, .503

    2. Giannis, .495

    3. DeMarre Carroll, .492

    4. LeBron, .489

    5. Curry, .487

    6. CP3, .485

    7. Harrison Barnes, .483

    8. Tony Parker, .482

    9. Kawhi Leonard, .480

    10. JJ Redick, .479

If you are going to include SFs you should definitely include Kyle Korver. His FG% is .487. And on a related note he is leading the league at TS% at .699!!!

He’s not on ESPN’s list for some reason.

Have to be on pace for 300 made FGs to qualify for those lists.  He’s at 289 and makes 3.9 per game, just short of qualifying.

JJ Redick is quietly having a really good season: 16.4 ppg in just 31 MPG on 48% from the field, 44% from three and 90% from the line. So many people are talking about Korver but Redick is arguably having a better season.

Better for him; you see with Korver that opponents adopt their game plan to make sure he doesn’t get in his rythm. Although that helps the other Hawks getting open looks, it doesn’t help his stats. Reddick on the other hand flies a bit under the radar I guess, still getting open looks as opponents focus on Paul and Griffin.
