FastAndFuriousParticipant13.8 PPG 5.0 AST, 3.4 REB, 2.6 TO’s per game while being a true freshman?
I like his game alot, I think he’s solid, another year of school and improvement he could be a late first round pick IF he improves and continues to get better.
The only problem I have with Burke is at 5-11, he isn’t an elite athlete, and his quickness won’t make up for his size at the next level.
Thoughts?

WizardofOzParticipantGlad to see he’s finally starting to get noticed. Neither Teague nor Kobongo made the Cousy award finalist list. Trey Burke did.
I think burke will be in the mix for the draft as early as next yr. He’s just that advanced as far as running a ball club. He’s been so advanced that Beilein has tweaked his system and added more pro style plays to keep the ball in Trey’s hands more.
He doesnt have to be an elite athlete. He’s a PG. He’s a good athlete. he’s fast in the open court and is quick and shifty in the half court. He’s not a sub 6’er either. He plays bigger than his size because he does have long arms and good body strength. He does need to work on his jumper a bit. He kinda has a Larry Hughes type jumper where he sometimes shoots the ball on the way down.

FastAndFuriousParticipantHe doesn’t have to be elite, your right, but he struggles to get past Big ten guards, he is quick, but it doesn’t make up for his size at the next level, like a Kemba Walker,Rondo,Bledsoe,Collison..etc…..Sub 6’0ers

river09ParticipantHe’s good but i’m not sold on how good he’ll get.. Watched him go up against wisconsins jordan taylor the other day.. Almost all of his points came off of screens and just elevating immediately for a midrange jumper, it was very predictable.. and taylor was able to block him take the ball from him the few times he tried to do anything else.. That being said he was tough on taylor defensively and definitely has the tools to be really good at the collegiate level (seeing as he’s already making an impact).. Time will tell I guess.. The lack of height and athleticism will hurt him in terms of turning pro, he doesn’t have the "wow" factor to get him over that definciency.. yet….
