Trends in the League

i believe that there will always be good point gguards in the league. i dont think it would be too far fetched too think in a few years cp wont even be an all star anymore. people are really intrigued by athletic fast point guards. i also dont think it would be a strecth 2 say pretty soon every team will have a good point guard. guys such as jameer nelson or anybody we think is pretty good now could be mediocre in a in 5 years and riding the bench. its basically a trend. i think a nother trend is the rend of the big 2 guards. 2 guards were valued years ago as being good sized. guys like tracy mcgrady and vince carter kobe these guys were in the 6'7 to 6'8 range. now the guys are getting smaller such as eric gordon oj mayo courtney lee and there is becoming a trend in this. i think the days of the 6'8 shooting guard are now gone. There is also a trend of big men wanting 2 be small men. They are transitioning to more of the european game where big men can play on the perimeter. nowadays big men are trying to learn point guard skills and make flashy passes. i saw a video on youtbe of blake griffin in a workout and the guy has a nice handle. It used 2 be that a big man job was 2 dominate the post and rebound and control the paint. now i see high school guys 6'10 260 pounds leadng a fast break and throwing behind the back passes. I kno guys are into putting on a good show i believe point guards are quickly surpassing the big men becuz they know wat their game is and they stick to it. I feel that if these trends continue the game of basketball will soon transition to small ball and ur traditional big man may be used as a role player. Forwards may be the new so called big men in the nba. wat do yall think? is this good for the game?

You caught feelings

You caught feelings about what I said about D Will, allow me to explain, guards like these will not be successful in todays nba. These guys are fast, but that's not enough these days, what do all of these guys all have in common? Lack of explosiveness or athleticism you will never see a guard Iverson's size playing shooting guard with the same kind of success ever again. If Nelson makes the all star games again I will be surprised,Ty Lawson, Patty Mills if they are stars in the league then you are right
