I just saw that the Wolves have offered the 9th pick, 26th pick and Derrick Williams to the Magic, Bobcats, and Suns. The only thing they ask for in return is their first pick. So the 2nd, 4th, or 5th pick. IMO, the Bobcats would be stupid to pass on this. Instant upgrade over their current PF and they could move back to draft Zeller, whom they are rumored to love. Then with the 26th they have a ton of SG options..

Bobcats could reinvent themselves with this move if they are smart enough to do it.

Only problem is the Magic taking Oladipo at 2. The Wolves seem to love him, but I think the Magic snatch him up. If the Wolves want to the do the same trade for Ben M then we will probably see a trade on draft night.

Yes charlotte and phoenix should jump on that deal… but they will surely wait to see if the prospect they target fall in their hands.

The Wolves seem to push hard to get a sg…. AND I think they could surprise us grabing McLemore whereas everybody’s talking so (too ?) loud about oladipo.

That would definitely make sense to me. I think a lot of us around here prefer McLemore to Oladipo because of his offensive potential. He would fit much better next to Rubio who isn’t the best outside shooter. We have been hearing they really like Victor but that could be a smoke screen to make this move up to get McLemore. He may have had some bad workouts but he still has all-star potential in my mind and you can’t say that about many prospects in this class.

I would take this offer if I was the cavs! This draft sucks. D.Will easily better then all these turkeys. But it looks like Orlando and Minny has something in the works.

I think Minny would prefer B-Mac over Oladipo. B-Mac’s game compliments Rubio’s perfectly. Rubio is a ball-dominant pass-first point guard while B-Mac is an off-ball shooting guard that prefers to score without the ball.

Wow, look at the Wolves go for pennies on the dollar. If this is true, I hope they are trying to dump salary for free agents. All the teams should jump on this. I hope it’s not just because they love Oladipo. After being burned by Wes Johnson and Derrick Williams, I’m wary of fast rising Juniors with sudden spikes in production. Rubio and AK47″s 3 pt %’s mean that BMac should be the target, but still looks like a massive overpay.

Williams would be a large upgrade for the Bobcats and the fact that they could add Zeller and and another player at the #26 spot makes this an easy decision for teams short on talent looking to speed-up the rebuilding process.

The bobcats would be stupid to do this. Not only are they trading down, they are taking on Williams salary and doing the wolves a favor. Williams makes 5 million next season and 6 mil the year after that. Too much for an under achiever.
