Trade for Kirk Hinrich?
Should the Kings trade for Kirk Hinrich? If they did, what would the trade look like?
If Washington wanted to trade Hinrich(which I don't think they want to) and if Sacramento wanted him (who doesn't want captain Kirk), i think a trade could look like this: Udrih, Casspi, and a 2nd rounder for Hinrich. Washington gets a backup point guard, a guy who can actually play small forward and something for the future, and it would be a high second round pick. Tyreke and Hinrich would make a pretty large guard tandum.
They can try to, but with Wall's injuries so far this season coupled with how well Hinrich has played in Wall's absence, I doubt the Wizards will trade him unless they can get a very good deal.... Also I know Hinrich is better than Udrih but why would the A. The Wizards want Udrih over Hinrich, B. The Kings want both of them, C. The Kings give up any of the assets the Wizards desire(picks, young talent etc.)
A. Udrih has a smaller contract, has also been playing well of late, and would not be the only thing the Wiz get in the trade.
B. The Kings would not want both of them, which is why Udrih would probably be included in the trade.
C. Sometimes young talent is not all its cracked up to be. The Kings are finding that they have to much of it and are in need of a little more leadership.
We already have Lewis Thornton and Howard at SF
So....I'm gonna be the one to ask
You really think bringing in Kirk Hinrich is going to turn this team around from what they are?
Smaller contract or not, I would not take Udrih over Kirk Hinrich. Besides, the difference is only by 1-2 million per year and Udrih has one more year than Hinrich, so again, why would the Wizards trade him to th Kings if they are getting Udrih in return???? What kind of deal would make this worthwhile for the Wizards?
