ZouldiersParticipantHeat receive: Jahlil Okafor
Sixers receive: Josh Mcroberts, Beno Udrih, Tyler Johnson, rights to swap picks with Miami in 2017.
For the Sixers: Not sure why they would want to trade Okafor but this makes them a lot worse than usual which guarantees them the highest chance at Ben Simmons in the lottery plus Miami could be worse next season given their health history.
For the Heat: This is more of a salary dump for them but this one gives them a guy who wants to be in a winning culture and he will be reunited with Winslow plus he will have guys like Wade, Spo and Pat to keep him in check.
I will get negged for this but so be it.

Hype MachineAny comment that entertains the idea of this trade is just adding fuel to the stupidity…so instead I’m going to set an under/over for the amount of negs this post gets.
So…under/over at -30.
What you got?

morestealsthanscoresParticipantIsn’t it funny how everyone (including me) falls in love with their own trade ideas…but can’t see how little sense they make.
Zouldiers – you’re kinda missing the point of trading, or business, or practically any common sense whatsoever. You don’t trade away assets just to get worse. Sure, you might trade away assets to save money (which can allow you to get better), or trade away assets for future assets (like draft picks). But not for nothing. And the Sixers have no need to save money anyway. And you don’t think they could get a better offer than that for Okafor…?

warson24The most laughable part of this trade is the draft consideration.
Zouldiers thought the missing piece to complete a fair trade is to throw in a draft pick swap, where the worst team can exchange picks with a playoff team… Brilliant. No less or no more, this absolutely pointless draft possibility makes that works… A bunch of garbage and a fictive pick for a rising star.
Or maybe that’s an erratum, he thought JaKarr Sampson instead of Jahlil? That’s makes much more sense for a Heat "salary dump". If we can use the word "sense" in any connection to this post.0 - Posted on: Wed, 02/17/2016 - 11:49pm #1043422

NardDog NationParticipantI broke a 7 month haitus just to have the opportunity to point out how ridiculous this idea is. I wish I had more "thumb down" icons, so I could give this hores**t the proper negging it deserves. I’m thinking that the OP easily clears 30-negs when it is all said and done.

Butter13ParticipantNot sure why Philly would make such a trade unless the goal is to get worse.

bmac697ParticipantI dont even know what to say to this trade offer.
Even T-Rex couldn’t come up with an offer like that

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantWhy would philly want to swap picks with Miami in 2017? As it looks right now, Philly’s pick will almost definitely be higher, especially if they trade okafor.

MopgrassParticipantHoops Rumors mentioned Miami was a potential destination for an Okafor trade and that the Sixers were looking around the league to gauge interest level in Okafor. I just don’t see how Miami could pull it off. Justice Winslow and what? They don’t have the pieces the Sixers would want.

thetruth87ParticipantWhile we’re at it can the Knicks jump in this trade and give Miami Porzingis for a reunion with Amare, Brian Robers and Udonis Haslem and the right to swap picks in 2019!!?? ……
BTW I’m setting the new over/under of -50. People are coming back from retirement to neg this.
