There are rumors that the Big 3 may split up if Miami loses in the finals this year. If Miami this is true, then what do you think of this trade idea.
Miami trades Chris Bosh to the Kings in a trade package centered around Demarcus Cousins.
This trade would be beneficial for both teams because Cousins need to be around a veteran team and the Kings need a veteran leader in their locker room.
The downside to this trade is that Cousins is still in his rookie deal so a 3rd team would have to be involved or Miami could try a trade like this: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=lmrxqww
or you can swap thompson for chuck hayes to make it more appealing for sac to get rid of bad contracts in salmons and hayes.
Miami - chalmers/wade/lebron/haslem/cousins
Sac- thomas/evans/#7 pick/patterson/bosh or #7pick/thornton/evans/patterson/bosh
Sac is not trading Cousins, and especially not for a mediocre, 30 year old, PF on a Max player option deal
I don't like the trade idea but calling bosh a mediocre PF makes no sense; he can still put up 20+ and give you 8-9 rebounds as a #1 option
I hope you dont seriously think youre getting all that for Bosh.
All of what? Bad contracts of salmons and Hayes to be included with cousins. Just face it Sacramento need to seriously rebuild their roster because the chemistry and veteran leadership is not there. Also, I would not put any trade pass them since they basically gave TRob up for a bag of peanuts. Hell to be honest I would add chalmers and jimmer in this trade to make it a little better if I was Riley.
I think that Bosh is really not a bad player. He may need a change of scenery to get away from the big stage in Miami. He could easily be a 20 & 10 guy in sac
Bosh COULD be a 20 and 10 guy in Sac, but Demarcus is already an 18 and 12 guy with the potential to get WAY WAY better if he can mature mentally. You don't just trade away guys like that. With the new ownership group it'll be as if he's playing for a different team.
Why would the kings give the heat one of the top young big men for a player who has been questioned since 2011..? Rebuilding teams rarely if ever trade their cornerstones while under a rookie deal. And who wants to see a team built around Chris bosh srsly..
If this trade did happen The Kings would have to have way less to work with money wise, And besides if anybody does walk from this team it would be James.. dwade and bosh will stick around for some rings and the heats front office will try to keep that core intact.
