Charlie SheenParticipantChicago, Philadelphi, Los Angeles
Bulls get- Andre Igoudala, Elton Brand, Randy Foye and Jodie Meeks
Sixers get- Carlos Boozer, Ryan Gomes and Charlotte’s 1st
Clippers get- Luol Deng
Why Bulls they get upgrades at SF/SG and PF but they also take on 2 big contracts as well as 2 additional contracts
Why Sixers they rid themselves of 2 Bad contracts take on Boozer’s big deal but hey they get Charlotte’s future 1st which would be good
Why Clippers they get an upgrade at SF only for Foye and Gomes but they do take on his large salary
Line Ups
Chicago
Rose-Meeks/Bogans/FA-Igoudala-Brand-Noah
Philadelphia
Holiday-Turner-Young-Boozer-Hawes
Los Angeles
Williams-Gordon-Deng-Griffin-Jordan
All teams win in this scenario

fastdanParticipantChicago won 62 last year, why would they trade 2 of their starters?

Charlie SheenParticipantWould you rather have Boozer/Deng or IGOUDALA and Brand both are better than their counter parts as well as a scorer in Meeks to help Rose
you cant be content especially when you lost in ECF Chicago would do this Boozer is a horrible #2 option Deng is a great #3 while Iggy is a great #2 and Brand would be a hell of a #3 option

fastdanParticipantThe current team compliments Rose better, who is the clear centerpiece of all their offense. Boozer is better in the PnR while Iggy wouldn’t be able to knock down the open shots Rose would give him from a colapsing defense.
Deng’s contract is that bad where only Foye and Gomes would be given up for him. Philly is giving too much up for a protected pick. They can get better value for Iggy. Meeks too.

ChewyParticipantThey get rid of their two worst contracts AND get back Brand, Iggy and a shooter! If they made the Bulls give up Derrick Rose’s first born I would still take this deal.

rileymcshea3ParticipantOK the Bulls sf and pf just get older and Carlos Boozer averaged more points a rebounds then Elton Brand did last year .
And who knows maybe Carlos Boozer had a off year or had a hard time trying to find his role on the Bulls but Boozer is still capable of being his all star self

M-DYMESParticipantReally don’t like it for my sixers. We do get rid of Brand’s contract, but he played well last year and Boozer played far from stellar. His contract is horrible in itself as well. Plus we lose Meeks, a threat from 3, and Iggy. Its a lottery draft system so we are far from assured the top pick even if the Cats finish last (which I doubt they will anyway for some reason).

apb540ParticipantI actually don’t mind it for the Sixers because we essentially get rid of two HUGE contracts for one HUGE one and one slightly oversized one plus a lottery pick. Only steep part is we would lose Jodie Meeks who I am a big fan of off the bench.

M-DYMESParticipantYea but that one huge contract lasts longer than our others if I am not mistaken. Plus Boozer has had a bout with injuries as of late and is not nearly what he used to be IMO. I think some people are too hell bent on shipping out Iggy for some reason. I personally would rather keep him than trade him away and accept something lesser just b/c it is the "thing to do".

apb540ParticipantI hear ya on both points. It’s certainly not a trade that I am hoping the Sixers do, but if it happens like this I wouldn’t be that upset. Right now moving Iggy actaully doesn’t make a ton of sense. Turner is going to need to start and Thad Young simply is not a starting SF over Iggy right now. If we hadn’t of drafted a Center I would say we need to deal Iggy for Kaman or something but that’s obviously not something in the Special Ed’s plans.

clippz4lifeParticipantI like the trade!
I’d do Kaman for Iggy, too!

stepback3ParticipantThis trade would help Rose because Iggy can help facilitate the ball around while drose is on the bench.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantI guess that much hasn’t change since I was last on…
