valentinewhy dont the nets trade yi lopez and harris to the timberwolves for cardinal and blount a draft pick and the rights to rubio? that way theyll be able to go after more free agents and can you imagine rubio, wall, and favors and a few good free agents added to the mix. minnesota would be better because theyd be adding one of the top young centers in the game a former all star point guard and someone with maybe some potential in yi. i think this could work very well for everyone

TyroberParticipantare you insane? lopez, harris, and yi? that is the absolutely worst trade i have ever seen. that is the nets future. those people are the reason players will want to be a net next year.

American_BallerParticipantHA! I know I’m new to this site, but this is ridiculous, Minnesota would have Lopez, Love, Jefferson, and Yi to play the 4 and 5 and without addressing their true weakness right now is small forward, and you really think trading away a ton of young talent is and bringing in two rookies is going to lure LeBron to the team who is tied for the worst start in NBA history?….nope

TyroberParticipanti understand your imagining wall rubio and favors but you do realize those players havent played a single game in the NBA right? Lopez is a top 3 center in two years. Harris is a good starting PG. Yi has great potential.

American_BallerParticipantThanks Orange Juice Jones, I’ll keep it real, and In case John Wall is listening in ” John Wall is the tops!”

TyroberParticipantyou do know that none of those players have played in the NBA? Being good in college and having great potential does not mean success in the NBA my friend. I think those players will be good down the road but not a soon as they play their first game. and you know the worst two records dont guarantee the first two picks. they could easily end up with the 4th and 5th and then what will you do?

13kavaki guess id have to suffer with arnett moultrie and cole aldrich and let rubio pass to them while i brought in guys who wanted to build a team and get rich at the same time. i could live with that. anyone want to put money on favors and wall NOT turning into solid pros??
0 - Posted on: Wed, 12/02/2009 - 2:06pm #235161
TyroberParticipanttheyll be solid pros but like i said you dont trade a top 5center in the league, a good starting PG for a draft pick. thats just ignorant

Chicago1980ParticipantThat is the dumbest trade that I have heard in a long time I know they are losing but why would they give up their 2 best players in lopez and harris and Yi for unproven talent in rubio and the draft pick and 2 bums in blount and cardinal that’s just stupid it makes no sense. You must be a timberwolves fan to come up with that trade idea.

Chicago1980ParticipantYou say doing nothing is bad but that trade would be one of the worst trades in the history od the NBA. They would be setting themselves back further than they already are with that trade.
