Why would thunder trade away there kobe/wade/roy,manu stopper ? why do we need another PF when we already have a log jam there? Serge ibaka is just as athletic if not more as Jason Thompson why would we want to hinder his development,

Ibaka and thabo are both cheap and wont want big big money and with KD and Westbrooke we need to get good role players for cheap

Also why would the kings want thabo? he cant shoot and handle the ball, would be terriable next to reke

How about the Thunder put Cousins in the deal instead.
Cousins, Garcia for Green, Sefolosha now that would make the Thunder a real threat.

I would love to see this trade go through for both sides.

For OKC, Harden will get his shot at being the starting 2 and Thompson will be able to get 13 and 10 a night.

For Sac, they will finally get a defensive minded 2 that could fit with Tyreke, and also get an upcoming 3 that could take over the starting job.

I dont think it would help reke at all, if thabo could shoot it would be awesome, but unfortunately he is horrible, last year defenders would let him shoot all day because he cant hurt anyone with his shooting, reke would get more double teams with thabo on the court

why is everyone obsessed with trading thunder players? sure the GM has done a good job and they have some nice pieces, but seriously none of the young core players will be traded away for another 2 years, when jeff greens qualifing offer expires, russel westbrook gets paid, and the new CBA takes effect.

if you want to do a trade with thunder players. the next move will probably be moving one of nenad Kristic and or nick collision at the deadline for a veteran big/wing or for some future draft picks and other assets

if they don’t have a reasonably priced extension. or maybe because they do.

Please turn your attention away from OKC and toward fixing the teams with crappy GMs. Minnesota, cleveland, detroit, Golden state anyone

I don’t like it. I don’t think the Thunder would want to give up Thabo and Green just to get Thompson and Garcia. Green is your Lamar Odom of the Lakers. A valuable 3 that can play the 4 and plays tough d. He can shoot the three, good passer, great defender and can play 2 positions very well. That’s pretty valuable to a lot of teams, so much that Thompson and Garcia isn’t worth it. Yes, Thompson can play both the 4 and the 5 and the Thunder could use a player like Thompson, since their Center is also still learning, Aldrich is only a rookie, and he doesn’t have much potential. Good defensively but about as good as Joel Pryzbilla, not much. So, yes Thompson is valuable to an extent because he can play both positions, but to me he is more of a 4 and if I put him at the 5, I would rather not. And Garcia, well he sucks. Great shooter but that’s about it. He can’t defend, does not put much heart in the game, and it seems as though he has already reached his potential which isn’t much. Maybe a player like David Lee would be more plausible. Also why would the Thunder give up Thabo. He is very good defensively. He’s not a great shooter, but he started last year as did Green, and I expect him to still start this year. Harden may be the better shooter but who did Coach Brooks trust to have starter’s minutes, Thabo. So in a sense the Thunder are trading away 2 starters to get one starter and fringe bench player(To me, that’s all Garcia is and will ever be.) Not worth it. if have to give up 2 starters than I want to get 2 starters in return.

I am so tired of hearing people talk shit about Garcia, just because they 1) do not watch him play more than a couple times a year. And 2) did not hear about him last year because of his freak injury. Garcia is a great shooter, but first and foremost he is a player who is extremely passionate on the court, he plays with more heart than anyone I have seen on the Kings in a long time. It is actually extremely evident when you watch him play, before the injury, that he was always the one on the floor revving guys up and standing up for his team. He is also an above average defender, who always guarded the other team’s best sg/sf, and before tyreke arrived was admittedly the Kings best defender. To say he can not defend and does not put much heart into the game is extremely ignorant and I am not simply referring to one post, but rather the multiple posts I have seen from other users when they feel like chipping in their two cents on his play. Give the guy some time to heal and get back into shape, then actually watch him play more than two or three games, and then make comments. Petrie (Kings GM) is not an idiot when it comes to evaluating talent, I am sure there is a very good reason as to why he decided to give Garcia that extension and it probably is not because he sucks…
