Denver may be open to trading Carmelo Anthony I have a trade in mind

    Orlando gets
    F-Carmelo Anthony
    F- Chris Andersen
    G- JR Smith

    Denver Gets
    G- Vince Carter
either C- Marcin Gortat or C Daniel Orton
if they pick Orton a future 1st and 2nd if they pick Gortat 2 future 1st

    Orlando gets
A go to guy who can score in the 4th quarter
A shooter for their system in JR
A defensive PF to add depth to the weak frontline so Lewis doesnt have match up issues

    Denver gets
A servicable guard in Vince Carter witha 17 mil expiring deal
A young Center who allowa them to move Nene to PF
plus either 2 1st rounders or 1 1st and a 2nd and cap relief by trading Birdman deal.

Some may think I’m a Magic fan but I’m not I’m a Denver fan and I think this a great deal for both sides

    Any opinions

Late first round picks and an expiring contract isn’t worth a superstar player, an underrated sg and a good roleplayer! This is one of the most lopsided trades I’ve ever seen.

that would be the worst trade ever. trading our superstar player for vince carter and his expiring contract. and then what would we use that money for? to sign the best free agent available in 2011….carmelo anthony. marcin gortat and chris anderson provide the same service. orton hasn’t played any substantial minutes since he was a junior in high school. jr smith has an expiring contract and is a fire cracker off the bench.

    Melo>Carter
    Andersen> Orton(bust) or Gortat
Smith>any pick that orlando will end up with
I doubt denver would trade 3 of their best players for 1 aging guy who’s not bettr than melo and possible rotataion guys. I don’t see it, but as an Orlando fan this would make them the favorite in the east undoubtedly. Scary: Nelson, Smith, Melo, Lewis, and Howard on the court at the end of a game? I’d take that over Lebron Bosh/Wade any day.

Denver doesnt want JR they signed Birdman to a big deal but he’s aging. the 2011 free agents are good players like Jeff Green, Michael Beasley, Al Horford, Nick Young, and Thaddeus Young are available. These guys come at a lower price and Denver can get very young for a low price too. George Karl wont come back after this year and Carmelo wants to play for a great coach. If Nene opts out then they’ll have a lot of CAP room like 38 mil. they can sign

    Jeff Green or Thaddeus Young
    Nick Young
    Al Horford

    Have a line up of

    Orton or Gortat
    Horford
    Young or Green
    N. Young
    Lawson

Thats great moving forward. Denver would make this deal looking forward not trying to win right away use logic

kind of screws over billups doesn’t it? I dont see them rebuilding considering they had a chance at a no 2 seed last year. However, if thats what management decides to do, then this isn’t a terrible plan, but they could find something better to move forward on…

    Seriously this won’t happen.
No one really want Vince Carter now unless you take back a bigger contract.
You want a trade how about Mello, Anderson,Kmart for Howard, Carter, Gortat.
Magic get back two bigs and a franchise scorer.
Nuggets get back great shot blocking big man and Carter.
Too bad it will never happen.
