Toughest road to finals?

Does the 6th and 7th seeds have a tougher road to the finals than the 8th seed?

The 6th and 7th seeds would have to beat 2nd 3rd and 1st seeds to get to the finals.

To be honest there is not much difference in the top 3 seeds in each conference. There is only 6 legit title contenders this year and thats the Celtics, Bulls, Heat, Spurs, Lakers, and Mavs. All of these teams have a 90% chance of advancing through the first round imo. But the point I am trying to make is the 8th seed only has to beat two of the top 3 teams while the 6th and 7th seeds have to beat all 3. The 4th and 5th seeds in the conference really dont matter in my opinion because the top 3 teams are on a completely different level. So by the standings now the 76ers would have to beat the Bulls, HEAT, and the Celtics JUST to make it to the finals. Good luck with that

This is the current standings in the West and East.

1. Spurs

2. Mavericks

3. Lakers

4. Thunder

5. Nuggets

6. Hornets

7. Blazers

8. Grizzlies

1. Celtics

2. Bulls

3. Heat

4. Magic

5. Hawks

6. Knicks

7. 76ers

8. Pacers
