[Off-Topic NFL] Hernandez charged
Aaron Hernandez was released from the New England Patriots and has been charged with murder and 5 gun charges.
This guy was going to have a brilliant NFL career with a few Pro-Bowl appearances. He could have been one of the better tight ends in the L and he threw it all away.
If found guilty, he won't see the life of day for the rest of his life. What a damn shame, how could someone throw everything away like this?
This is why you don't draft your fantasy team until at least late August
This might go down as the worst murder cover up of all time. Rent a car in Hernandez's name and use it to dump the body. Destroy your security equipment. Break your phone into multiple pieces and give it to the cops. Hire a large cleaning crew to clean your house top to bottom. No, no officer, I'm not covering anything up!
It's a damn shame ... people would dream to be a NFL player making millions and too throw it all away on a murder beef is stupid ... Hernandez deserves everything he gets
And he's only 23, damn.
he definitely seems older than that. i thought that was weird when i found that out.
Not surprising, he got into trouble in college too.
There's a difference between getting into trouble in college and murdering someone.
I heard he may have been involved in a shooting after one of his college games.
I take it Tebow is the starter at TE by default.
This reminds me of the Jayson Williams case a little.
what a dumbass
Hernandez threw his life away and it wasn't like he snapped and stabbed the guy.
People are saying he executed the murder so he is in deep trouble.
I was wondering why the cops took so long to arrest him if he was guilty turns out they were coming up with gun charges and obstruction charge was just the tip of the iceberg.
On the football side of it people that think the Pats will not be a contender because of this are way off. Gronk will be back maybe the 2nd or 3rd week of the season they have Ballard, Fells and 2 Tight Ends from the draft. Granted those guys don't have the talent Hernandez has but they'll rely more on the running game with Ridley even more now. Vereen could see a lot more touches in the passing game now because of his speed and defenses focusing on Gronk and Amendola.
When does Gronk get back supposedly? Wonder if Jake Ballard has a career year?
Tim Tebow is going to start at TE and no one is going to stop him :)
I dated a girl who went to prom with him in high school and she always told me he was so stupid but i don't think she thought this stupid
No but Aaron please give me or I May Be Wrong a call at McDunkin Management Agency...Ray Lewis did...
Damn Aaron Hernandez, because of him instead of there being an NBA Draft preview on ESPN they're covering his case. ESPN needs to stop trying to be CNN or Fox News and stick to sports. I'm sick and tired of hearing about this every two seconds. My condolences go out to Odin Lloyd's family, but the fact of the matter is that I DON'T GIVE A SHIIT ABOUT THIS CASE! And neither does 95% of people who watch ESPN. I feel like they keep covering the case just so we hate him even more.
He was one of the best tight ends in football while playing for one of the highest profile teams. Of course this is what they're going to be covering. Don't watch ESPN, go watch NBATV.
I understand what you're talking about, but it's getting a bit ridiculous. They don't need to reserve a whole evening's worth of coverage just for his case. How much is there to cover anyways? They just keep talking about the same thing every 10 minutes. I understand he's one of the top players in the league, but still.
As the old saying goes, "you can take the guy out of the hood, but you can't take the hood out of the guy." He is a dumbass. A talented one, but a dumbass none the less.
