OhCanada-ParticipantThis years draft depth has people discussing reasons for a 3rd Round in the Draft or even a 30 team D-League. One thing that is for sure is that the NBA-D-League will take an extremely large step in the right direction as a true minor league this season. There will be a large competitiveness and great potential lurking in the D-League.Also with so many teams looking to sign players and improve there team many of these players will be picked up with Minimums to fill out roster spots.I had descriptions on the 30 of these players and it took like half a day to type but then I pressed back lost all the Bio’s and forgot to save in my notepad so I’m just gonna post it.

McWinningParticipantNo love for Damien Johnson?
Tubby Smith called him the best, and most versatile defensive player hes ever coached, hes a lockdown defender, selfless team player as well as a good passer too (had 11 assists in one game this season) o offensively hes not gonna do a whole lot, but hes better than some of those players you mentioned.
Hes a good player, and will get some looks.

the I in winParticipantIs Tim Ohlbrecht going to continue to try to make it in the nba. I thought he would be an ok player and you can never have to many bigs (even if he is a little small).

TRC1991Participantno patrick christopher?! and zoubek at #4? hes not very good in case you didnt watch duke play this year

MBRHParticipantI do think zoubek is to high and sandham is to low, but a great list. I suspect there will be quite a few from this years draft who weren’t selected but will become solid rotation players.

JJeff6ParticipantRandle is way too low. hes a top five guy on that list.

OhCanada-ParticipantZoubek is high too me too but thats what league rumours are so I listen. The player I think who could makle the most money here is Dior Lowhorn. With 2 more inches and increased athletic abillity hes a lotter opick IMO.Its funny because Harangody got drafted based on College Production even thou he is a desperate tweener and unathletic but Lowhorn doesnt even get any drfat play. Its sad really especially since Lowhorn is the better player. If Lowhorn goes and takes the international route he will be one of the best in the league in time.

Fresh_The_FanParticipantI would have liked to see Sylven Landesburg get drafted. The guy has the ridiculous ability to get to the rim and finish and that’s what a lot of NBA teams could use in addition to their selected shooters. Very surprised he didn’t get picked up.
I’m sure he’ll find a spot on someone’s roster if he impresses in Summer League.
Update: Just read an article saying how Landesburg will be playing for the Kings’ summer league team with Wayne Chism (Tenn) and Ryan Thompson (Rider). Hopefully, Landesburg can perform well enough to earn a contract. Just needs to improve his perimeter shot and improve his perimeter defense. Probably needs to bulk up too.

Fresh_The_FanParticipantMight I add that Mikhail Torrance (Alabama) was not drafted either which was a real shocker to me. I seen videos of his workouts and he seemed to have showed an array of skills: from his incredible ball control and quickness to his nice mid-range game. His size is also a reason I think he should have gotten drafted as he is a 6’5 combo guard. Perhaps the reason he wasn’t drafted was because his skills don’t appear to translate well enough to either one of the guard positions. Still, I think he would adjust nicely given his humbleness and his perceived determination via workout footage to work hard and get better.
No doubt, he should also make an NBA team through his stint in summer league.

OhCanada-ParticipantWOW
Great point Torrance didn’t get drafted. He’s such a good prospect, something must have happened behind the scenes. He will get picked up and he will play NBA mminutes as a rookie.#1 on the list!

Fresh_The_FanParticipantI know man. I hope he earns a roster spot for a team because seeing how humble he is in addition to his work ethic just doesn’t make sense for why he wasn’t drafted, especially since he was expected to go early-mid 2nd round at the latest.
