barkley is great, but what

barkley is great, but what does height have to do with him being better then kobe? ANd for the record, he was officially measured at as 6-4 3/4 without shoes which makes him 6-6 by nba standards.

I like barkely, but seriously, what has he done to be better then kobe? He won 1 mvp, but so did kobe. After that, its all pretty much a landslide in kobe's favor. Stats, defense, titles. The guy who posted this video is entitled to his opinion, but kobe at 17 just one spot ahead lebron and behind numerous players who's careers dont match up to kobe's is a real sore spot on his list and hurts his credibility. I mean even a laker hater i think would have to at least give him top 10 status. How could a guy behind all those other players be discussed in the same sentece as michael or greatest laker ever by so many people in the media if he is only 17th?

lmao at Barkley, Bob Petit

lmao at Barkley, Bob Petit and David Robinson over Kobe. Not even close.

Barkley at #15 and Elvin Hayes at #37? Outrageous.

Kobe top ten

A lot of people had the Mike Jordan disease; they could never win no championships like Malone, Ewing,Barkley,Stockton. Even Hakeem got luckey and won win jordan left but never after he came back even with barkley.

I absolutely hate Kobe

I absolutely hate Kobe Bryant, but even I have to admit he's higher than #17. Maybe not Top 10 but he's definitely higher than David Robinson. I would put Kobe arounf #12 or #13.

Everything else seemed pretty good.

If you were basing it on player skill and included 60s stars like Russell and Robertson, Elgin Baylor, Jerry West and Julius Erving should be on that list before Barkley...

How is Karl Malone and

How is Karl Malone and Charles Barkley better than Kobe? Kobe is a better player and he's won way more championships. Kobe has 5, and the Mailman and sir Charles both have 0 combined.

kevin durant should make the

kevin durant should make the list in a few years, and lebron and kobe should make the top 10 (and maybe even top 5, top 3?) by the time their careers are done
wade should also climb higher as he is gonna be on a contender for the next 6 years
pau gasol and chris bosh might sneak in as they are also on contenders for the next few years

Kobe

Love him or hate him Kobe is definitely in the top 10. I'm a Jazz fan, so i don't like Kobe at all, but from a basketball perspective the man is a living legend and worth a top 10 spot. Should be ahead of Duncan and Shaq in the active players list.

This list is a complete joke,

This list is a complete joke, I mean even if the NBA actually remade the Top 50 like they did in 95', I'm not sure LeBron even makes the list, let alone be #19...that was good for a few laughs though...

Trust me, I'm in no way/shape or form saying LeBron won't be in the top 50 eventually, but just for an example, if he was to break his leg and never be able to again, would his 7 years of service put him in the top 50 ALL TIME???

Yes, he has the best assits average for small forwards all time. Also, he's 3rd all time in scoring all time average as of today.

LeBron

LeBron would be on the Top 50. No doubt about it. Shaq was on the list in '96 and he had a lesser resume than LeBron does right now. #19? no. I would put him in the 27-33 range. I also think Reggie Miller should have been in the 45-50 range of the countdown.

On pure stats, I would say

On pure stats, I would say Barkley over Bryant. Barkley was waaaay more efficient in his career than Kobe has ever been. Barkley was a beast at the PF position and he wasn't just a stat guy. He played with an intensity that was 2nd to MJ back in his day.

On accolades, Kobe wins this one because he has 5 championships.

On LeBron, he already has a .9801 on his hall of fame probability after only 7 years of service...
