Yeah

To me the Bobcats are the clear #1.

I'd say...

  1. Bobcats
  2. Cavs
  3. Magic
  4. Thunder
  5. Heat

Honorable Mention: Bulls, Lakers

I'd say rebounding differential, FG% allowed and points allowed per possesion are the best stats to measure team defense.

Does anybody remember that the Charlotte Bobcats were the best defensive team in the league last season? Or is it just me?

The Bobcats were a GREAT

The Bobcats were a GREAT defensive team. That's the main reason I thought they'd be a great matchup vs Orlando in the first round, but I was wrong... Their offense was terrible.

the suns actually arent a bad defensive team with alvin gentry, it wasnt luck that got them to push the limits to the Lakers
