top 3 players of the draft

i think the 3 players to be chosen at the top 3 picks of the upcoming draft are set, just the order is not close yet! the top 3 players are: Kyrie Irving, Derrick Williams and Harrison Barnes, i think it's clearly the first tier of this year draft, with the next tier including 7 players: Enes Kanter, Jared Sullinger, Donatas Motiejunas, Perry Jones, Terrence Jones, Jordan Hamilton, Alec Burks!!!

I agree with your top 3 but

I agree with your top 3 but don't expect them to go 1, 2, 3 in that order come this draft. This draft has no superstar or future superstar for that matter, but great role players. Expect teams to be drafting according to need. Minny could draft Kanter because him and Love would be a great combo, Washington could draft either Derrick Williams, Jared Sullinger or Harrison Barnes. Cavs are picking Kyrie, no doubt, Raptors could go with Kanter or Jonas to fill in that Center position so Bargs can play the 4, his usual position. And the Jazz could really go with who ever is left, Derrick Williams, Harrison Barnes, Terrance Jones. But don't expect the Jazz to pick Perry Jones. I have him written down as a bust and KOC is a great GM who knows his players and draft picks. He will not draft the busts if he believes they are going to be busts. Perry Jones could slip to 5 or all the way down to 7.

Im just not a fond believer

Im just not a fond believer in Williams being defensively sound in the NBA, its going to be rough for an offensive undersized PF to win games as a featured starter.

As for Barnes the only reason half you guys have faith in him is because he went of for 40. If he scores 5 points in the next game you guys are gonna make nonsense threads about why he might be a lotto pick next year, and shouldnt be drafted in the Top 15 and all that nonsense. Not everyone but the ones who did that know what I mean.

Barnes maybe Top 3 but I still dont see what separates Jones, Kanter, sullinger from the pack. If the Wolves got the 1st overall pick and selected Kanter I wouldnt be mad at them at all.

Barnes is in the top 3 tier

Barnes is in the top 3 tier because he's about as sure thing that could be, probably not a superstar but great second or third option, because of his work ethic, his will and because he has the less question mark from all the other names you mention!

I don't think any player is

I don't think any player is set at any pick because there isn't a franchise player ( according to NBA Teams) Of course none of us know for sure if there is or isn't a franchise player. This is a year where workouts will play a very important role as far as who goes where.

Stanford Hoops is right, in a

Stanford Hoops is right, in a draft like this noone will be trading down because noone will want to trade up. Teams will draft for need, mostly since there is no dominant leader of all these players. I honestly hope Toronto either gets Irving Kanter or Barnes yet that is starting too look doubtful, unless the lotto plays some magic.

i would have a top 4 of

i would have a top 4 of sulligner, irving, barnes, williams in no particular order.

from here to draft day anyone of those 4 could go number 1 - it depends on team needs, workouts and of course how they perform in the big dance.

at this stage i would have kanter anywhere from 2-7
