What about Mehmet Okur?

This sharp shooting center was on the all-star team a couple years ago.

Top ten second rounders of the last ten years...

Not by individual year, but just overall...

Redd, Arenas, Boozer, Mo Williams, Okur, Ellis, Millsap, Scola, Gasol, Landry.

Honorable Mention: Ariza

Just goes to show the "experts" make a bunch of mistakes.

Chalmers is not the Top 2nd of 2008

These three are better than Chalmers IMO
Goran Dragic
Deandre Jordan
Mbah a Moute

These three compete
Sonny Weems
Chris Douglas Roberts
Bill Walker

Its funny how alot of them were pretty productive in college, but scouts just didnt see the "potential"

I have a feeling a guy like

I have a feeling a guy like Damian James is going to slip come draft day. He's very productive and I still think he'll have a good career, but I think he's gonna be one of those guys like Blair and Budinger last year who were expected to go between 17-25 who mysteriously drop. He's kind of a tweener, played four years and isn't a great outside shooter for a SF. I think he'll have a solid career, but I bet he drops to the 2nd round.

Najera

Don't forget Eduardo Najero, drafted 38th in 2000 by Houston and traded to Dallas for Dan Langhi (who's he?) 10 years later, he's still in the league, having provided smart team play, good tough defense at multiple positions, great hustle, a good FG percentage, and a very low turnover rate, all while never making over five million a season. He's basically what you want in a second round pick, if you can't find a potential star that everyone missed in round 1.
