these are the players that can take the ball from the top of the key with a man on them and a man standing under the basket and they will find a way to score weather it be by driving or a pull up jumper.
Derrick Rose belongs somewhere in top 10. The guy is the fastest, quickest player in the NBA, and he now has a deadly mid-range jumpshot to go along with it.
ill put him on the list when he starts scoring more on a no offense team like the bulls. if i put him on the list then i need to add westbrook and parker because they score in the same ways.
Rose averaged 27PPG in this year's playoffs without a legit SG and no shooters around him. He was constantly double teamed against the Cavs and he just ate up Mo Williams, and when they put Lebron on him he was also having his way against him. If Rose wasnt a point guard he could easily be a 25PPG scorer in this league, and I dont think Westbrook and Parker is capable of that because their not in the same level as Rose.
please save your credibility while you can and take john salmons off that list...and melo should be number 2 at worst....
Derrick rose was guarded by mo Williams. I'm sure you or I could light him up. And his mid range jumper is anything but fmdeadly. He doesn't exactly shoot jumpers though. He's always using momentum and doing some type of floater rather than shoot a set jumper. When he does shoot jumpers he is pulling up. Don't get me wrong he is a great scorer but he definitely doesn't have a deadly jumper. Salmons definitely belongs on this list because he gets to the basket no matter the situation or team. As for the order I won't get into it but I think the list is pretty accurate.
Just to put things in perspective Sam cassell had a deadly mid range jumper. Jamal mashburn, rip Hamilton etc rose has a passable jumper that still needs improvement if it's to be on the level of "deadly"
anyone who puts salmons on this list obviously never watched him play a minute in a bulls uniform this year where he shot about 30%....rose was clearly the best iso option on the bulls....
c'mon man, Melo should be at the very least number 2.
No big men at all ?
Did you make this list yourself? Because if you did, it would explain alot.
Durant at 12? He's the scoring CHAMP!!
monta ellis should be on this list somewhere. Not feeling john slamons at all. He's got good one on one skills, but top 15 in the league? And are you gonna tell me that put into one on one coverage that dirk is better then lebron? Or even Arenas for that matter. He relies a lot on high post fade aways and if he had to pound the ball, he would defenitely be lower on this list.

1. Melo- Best pure scorer in the game
2. Kobe- Closest thing to MJ we will see in a very long time
3. Dirk- 7 footer that can do it all on offense
4. DWade- best slasher in the game with a decent pull up J
5. Durant- He wasnt the top scorer in the league for no reason, he can do it all.
im from illinois and the bulls gave the ball to salmons in the fourth quarter and he did a pull up fade away every time, just like kobe, only he doesnt make it as often as kobe.
nash and rondo? rondo is my favorite player in the nba but wouldn't be in my top 30. melo cant make shots the same way kobe or pierce can, he pulls up way too much. durant isn't a good enough ball handler to be any higher than 7.
I am not sure where they found this statistic but I remember just before the regular season ended watching a Kings game where they said that Tyreke actually led the league in highest % of unassisted shots at the basket
monte ellis needs to be on that list...
Why is Durant so Low!!?? he averaged 30points a game!
Monta Ellis not even in there????
