I love this KU team with Jackson. Last year’s KU team had no closer. So, if Jackson can fill that closer offensive role, then this team could easily win it all because the players returning have already shown they play great team defense. They just couldn’t score when they needed to.

Think Ball will help UCLA that much? I don’t. They were 15-17 last year. I can see Ball and Leaf getting this team to March Madness and a top 3 finish in the Pac, but not top 10.

are both WAY to high up. If you’re basing it on NBA potential, yes both teams certainly have multiple potential first round picks.

For Arizona, although they’d love to have Sumner, not sure if you mean Parker Jackson Cartwright or Kadeem Allen as starting pg? Losing Ryan Anderson, Kaleb T, and Gabe York are going to be big production, leadership, and intagible losses. I think this is arguably one of Sean Miller’s worst defensive teams in a few years. They have some athletic playmakers, but I think in this case potential far outweighs production.

As for Florida State, with all their talent last year, didn’t even make the tourney. Replacing Beasley with Isaac and development of current players maybe puts them in the top 15 or 20 but certainly not top 10 in my mind.

ucla returns everybody except tony parker. Their two biggest upside guys from last year were jonah bolden and aaron holiday who were both freshman and have nba potential so i expect big improvements from them. Throw in ball and leaf plus alford, hamilton and welsh all being returning starters and i defenitely think top 10 is realistic. As bad as they played last season, they still beat teams like kentucky, zona and gonzaga. Returning everyone and bringing in ball and leaf should have them top 10. Otherwise the coach needs to go.

UNC is returning most of its rotation. Jackson returning gives them a huge boost and I think experience beats out natural talent at the college level. These kids will be hungry after last year’s heartbreaking loss.. UNC will once again have one of the best benches in the country. Someone will need to fill the role of Brice Johnson’s stellar post play and Marcus Paige’s leadership. I could see Kansas winning too.

Seems like there’s way more talent up top this year than last year. Should be plenty of fight for the #1 spot all season

As a slight homer I would have Oregon in there, probably taking either UCLA’s or FSU’s spot.
    With a lineup of:
    PG: Casey Benson
    SG:Tyler Dorsey
    SF: Dillon Brooks
    PF: Jordan Bell
    C: Chris Boucher

That’s a solid core returning really only losing Elgin Cook. He was a stud but his productivity can easily be gobbled up by improvements from Tyler Dorsey (strength, consistency) and Casey Benson (consistent shooting). Jordan Bell was one of the few Ducks to play well in the Oklahoma game and he looked good scoring in the post. His continued improvement could be key as well. Him and Boucher are the top 2 shot blockers in Oregon history in just 3 combined seasons.

Frontcourt depth will be better as well with the addition (for the second year in a row) of the national JUCO player of the year in Kavell Bigby-Williams. This guy is pretty unknown but could end up wowing for the ducks. He has a ton of natural ability and athleticism.

I believe Dylan Ennis the Nova transfer is appealing for a sixth year of eligibility, this is a slim chance but if he’s back it really shores up the backcourt. Benson is a solid PG who doesn’t turn the ball over. Kendall Small was decent last year in limited minutes but has potential. They also added in-state guard Payton Pritchard who can handle and shoot as good as any high school PG (just doesn’t have a lot of athleticism/height to go with it).
