     1) Blake Griffin- Guy is a flat out beast! Once he learns more post moves/go-to moves, watch out. He’s got Amare Stoudamire athleticism pre-injury, Carlos Boozer brute strength, and quick feet like a SF.  If there is a next season im predicting another fantastic season from him.  His stats might be a little down this year bc Eric Gordon will be healthy, but i see him playing more efficiently nxt year

    2) John Wall- I believe we underrate this guy sometimes.  Not many rookies have posted 16ppg, 8apg, 5rpg, 1.8spg.  I know lots of you guys have been watching all the summer leagues, so im sure you’ve seen J-Wall play.  It loooks like his confidence in his shot is getting better and it looks like his mechanics are improving.. if he gets a shot then forget about staying infront of him

    3) Demarcus Cousins- Cousins is a beast on the inside and can muscle his way thru contact.  Wuts underrated about him is his finese game.  He can operate on the high block and has decent dribbling skills.  As long as his head stays straight, nothing can stop this guy from being a top10 low post scorer one day

    4) Gary Neal- Surprise old rookie who showed that he got game last year.  He pretty muched nabbed the first PG off the bench spot out of George Hill(now with the pacers).  He was clutch througout the year and showed that he can not only shoot the three, but can put it on the floor as well.  A great piece to a contending team.

    5) Evan Turner- Didnt have the greatest season, but hopefully will be given an expanded role on the 76ers team this year.  The guy can flat out play, but needs the ball in his hands and needs to be given more leeway from  his coach next year

    6) Landry Fields- 1st half the season, surprised the NBA with his lead guard rebounding and great D.  2nd half, he sort of fell off the spotlight and was given less playing time.  watch out for him to have a bounceback season.  Reminds me of shane battier

    7) Paul George- Showed in the playoffs that he can be a lock down defender who has GREAT athleticism.  He should be given more time @ the SG spot with great height @6’8

    8) Jordan Crawford- Ive been high on him since his clutch shots @ Xavier.  Great Crawfords think alike and play alike.  Both can be capable starters, but both can be scoring punches off the bench.  I wonder who will start for the Wizards? Nick Young or Crawford? Prob crawford bc he seemed toplay better in the starting position.

    9) Greg Monroe- Begun to show what he’s got @ the end of the season. superior passing skills for a big man.

    10) Gordan Hayward- Gordan should be given a more expanded role with Kirilenko possibly going overseas.  pLus management is super high on him.

SLEEPER- Patrick Patterson- Did a great job filling in for Scola.  I think the y should move scola’s contract and bring in Patterson to start @ PF

HONORABLE MENTION-Ekpe Udoh, Wesley Johnson, Ed Davis, Derrick Favors, Eric Bledsoe, James Anderson, Greivis Vasquez

Great list, I just think Greg Monroe is too low and should probably be ranked fourth. Once Detroit gets rid of old faces such as Hamilton, and maybe even Stuckey, there is no reason to think he could not be their go-to guy on offense. He should have gotten several more touches last season, but Detroit is a team full of chuckers and he was essentially the 4th/5th option most of the time…..

Could not be bothered explaining why for most but if I ranked my top 10 on what I think they will do next season it would go..

    1) Blake Griffin

    2) Wall

    3) Cousins

    4) Monroe – Was beasting towards the end of last season plus Brandon Knight should only help him get the touches he deserves.

    5) Paul George

    6) Gary Neal

    7) Ed Davis – Also started playing very well at the backend of last season which was suprising as I thought he would be a bust.  Should get rid of Bargnani ASAP to get him more playing time and then when Valanciunas comes over start him at 5, Davis at 4 with Amir Johnson backing up both positions and gettin decent minutes thats a good, young frontcourt rotation.

    8) Evan Turner – If they move Iguodala I’d move him much higher.

    9)  Favors – Will be given time on the court and should continue to drastically improve, already a very good defensive player.

    10) Gordon Hayward

    1. Blake Griffin – Best in class no question

    2. John Wall- should continue to grow, had a very good rookie year, i expect similar if not better numbers in his 2nd year

    3. Demarcus Cousins- if he matures could be a dominate big man, has all the talent and potential, just has to put it all together

    4. Greg Monroe- quietly had a solid rookie year, going to be a good nba player for a long time

    5. Paul George- POTENTIAL, could be a monster, showed up big in the playoffs, super athletic, could become a great offensive player if he keeps working

    6. Ed Davis- solid, need to bulk up, but a good talent, should pair well with jonas valanciunas, and derozan on a solid young core in toronto

    7. Evan Turner-im skeptical, i could see him becoming a solid nba player or i could see him fizzling out just as fast as ron mercer, except mercer was a solid player immediatly

    8. Derrick Favors- all the physical tools, needs to fine tune his game big time…not much floor time in utah though, Kanter, Jefferson, Millsap and Favors, its going to be hard to get a good amount of burn

    9. Landry Fields- solid player, nothing special, just a solid player

    10. Jordan Crawford- scoring ability is great, needs to improve other areas

Honorable Mention- Gordon Hayward- will never be great, but can be a very solid nba player

You guys are doing good with the rankings.  Just wanted to chime in and say it will be exciting to watch this crop of sophs play next year.  There are a lot of guys who look to improve a lot.

Griffin might not improve a whole lot in the stats department, but he is the kind of player who will see his stats stay the same and his team’s wins increase.

John Wall – First pick, it is expected that he improve.

    Cousins – Tick tick tick … Boom/Bench

Greg Munroe – The Pistons are going to give him every opportunity to blow up.

Paul George – Great potential, as others have said, but Indiana might fit him into the team instead of showcasing him.  Not a bad thing, but it can hide his growth a bit.

Davis – Dude is going to be good.  Might not get All Star numbers, but he is going to really help his team, and get very respectable numbers for the minutes he plays.

I think Ed Davis is going to be close to a double double player as a sophomore.  He’ll get the opportunity to play and I think he’ll be around a 11-12ppg 8-10 rpg player next season.  In games he started as a rookie he was a 10.5 ppg 8.2 rpg player, next season he’s going to be stronger and I think he’s most likely going to beat out Amir Johnson didn’t do bad last year, but didn’t show the kind of improvement they hoped when giving him his new deal.  I think it’s clear Davis has more potential and as a result I think he’ll play over 30 mpg next season.

^^Not if Bargnani is starting at PF like they intend to do. They need to trade him! Davis deserves to be starting, and Johnson is a good 3rd-big off the bench.

I think Davis is the perfect fit for Dwayne Casey’s system. Davis is a defensive player with very high defensive-IQ, and I think Ed will be one of Casey`s favorites.

Davis is also a good passer on the interior, I think he`ll work nicely in the free-flowing offense, obviously he needs to polish his offensive skills, even though we saw him score quite efficiently.

Good point, I didn’t realize they were sliding Bargs over this season.  I agree, he’s a big defensive talent and would be a great fit for them without Bargs.  If Jonas V is in fact the big time center prospect he appears to be, and capable of scoring, they don’t need a 7 foot 3 point shooter next to him at PF.

One other possibility… I know Bargs his a 20+ ppg scorer, but I think he’d be best used off the bench like Toni Kukoc, playing multiple positions, and providing offense when resting your starters, or when they were struggling to score.

If the guy can play defence like he can (he played well the year before last … watching the games) then The Raps could really use him as an offensive threat at the 4/5 position.  He is developing a post game, and gets to the line.  Davis would be an ideal fit next to him, as he is a little more defensivly focused.

Bargniani really manned guys up in the post and blocked a good number of shots the year before last, and if he can do this and get some more boards, he will fit well with Davis (if he bulks up a little).
