Over the last 4 games including the game in progress Tony Snell has been shooting excellent (26/37 and 13/22 on 3 pointers).

How much potential does this guy have? I haven’t seen him play. I remember some people compared him to Kawhi Leonard before the draft 2years ago. He doesn’t seem to rebound much. Will/Can he be anything more than an average starter. This is for Bulls fans who have watched him play.

Obviously the last 4 games shouldn’t count for much as anyone can get hot for a few games.

Snell has all the tools to be an above average starter, including a tremendous work ethic which is what I think will make him exceed the average level. He needs confidence and consistency more than anything right now. I don’t see his ceiling as high as Kawhi Leonard’s but he should evolve into a more than capable defender and he already has the set of offensive tools to put up points in a flurry. I could definitely see his career going similar to Jamal Crawford’s .

Really was impressed with his defense on LeBron, many of LBJ’s turnovers where forced by him. Terrific backdoor cutter also, loved their play with Gasol/Noah findind him near the basket. He semmed to have found his touch from beyong the arc also. By the way that also proves that you don’t need 3-5 top 5 players in the draft to build a successful team:Snell was a 20th pcik,Butler a 30th,Noah a 9th,Gibson 26th . Only Rose was number 1 (and they were Lucky btw). It’s more about developing players and a system than just a draft position.

Exactly why I wouldnt give Jimmy the max, Yes jimmy is a better player in every way than snell but with the system of the bulls and the things you need snell to do, others can help with produciton they would miss from jimmy. I got negged like hell for it but jimmy is not worth max
