Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantThis guy is really working Kobe. I’ve watched every game so far in the Finals and whenever Tony Allen plays Kobe, he pushes his around and bodies him up really well. Has anyone else noticed how great his 1 on 1 defense has been on Kobe in these Finals? I don’t think he’s getting enough credit. He’s literally bullying Kobe and playing very physical defense.

Tyreke JohnsonParticipantWhen you watch it very closely you notice but a lot of people do not give him credit because Kobe is still getting his shots and points and Rondo and the Big 3s or bench’s performance pretty much overshadow what he has done. He does get credit but not really enough. Kobe is my favorite player but he needs to understand to give his teammates the ball because he can get his pretty much whenever.

Tyreke JohnsonParticipantIf you are gonna take my points away please atleast state an argument, I do not care bout points being taken but at least say why it is really annoying.

ilike.panochasParticipantPeople forget that Tony Allen shattered his knees 2 years ago, and has fought back to where he is now. Imagine if he never had the injury, you could be looking at the most athletic player on that team (including Nate Robinson), and would give Kobe even a tougher match up that what hes getting.

JNixonParticipantAllen is a favorite of mine. I like his game, and he is super tough and energetic. He defended Lebron the same way he’s defending Kobe too. Played the same style of D.

IknoBall12Participantallen gets no love becuz he isnt a offensive superstar like most defensive players in the league. think about it. shan ebattier is only known by NBA fans who really watch the game as a great defensive player. not by the average fan. also ben wallace got no recognition at all during the pistons run to the championship thaa year as a great defender until they won it all. if u play defense u usually dont get much press

JoeWolf1Fizer, that block was insane! and that one he had last night too! He blocked it twice just for an extra ef’ you factor!
I’m a big fan of Allen too, he’s played great defense all throughout the playoffs. When a great athlete like him, gets paired with a defensive coach and has the mindset to be a defender that can be a really great combination. I always though Joey Graham has that same kind of potential, but he hasn’t quite gotten it together. I think he could be a really scary defender too if he wanted to.
