So im reading alot of posts and reading wat people think lebron will do this summer. And honestly i think alot of you dont kno wat the hell u are talking about. You are thinking alot more about cities than about this niggas true goal. So ima be real 4 a minute. Lebron is not going to go 2 Chicago. Yea derrick rose is a star but chicago is rebuilding still and lebron is not trying 2 be on a rebuilding team. Lebron James wants championships not more years to pile stats. James understands now that the only way 4 him to be compared along with MJ and Kobe is 4 him 2 have RINGS (not jus 1). And the bulls dont have the money 2 sign 2 huge stars. The knicks could work out by signing 2 major stars but again it depends on their supporting casts. I mean idk where James is going or if hed even stay in Cleveland but the bottom line is Lebron Needs a team similar to wat Kobe has 2 win it all. And he gets that. Its easy 4 him 2 play with the media and tease them but i think james already has a plan set. I think he will eventually remain in cleveland because i dont see any other team who can offer him the help cleveland does. ANd him promising his home state a title still has 2 linger in his mind. Their may be players filing in and out of cleveland every year but i think they will try everything in their power to get lebron wat he wants.
But on a side note: If Lebron REALLY wants a title like he says he does…..do u guys think he can put away his ego long enough 2 sign with a serious contender 4 less money? even jus 4 a year? wat do u guys think?

I don’t see why he would stay in cleveland. even if they were to win it this year his team is still full of very old players that don’t have long left.

I think Chicago is a likely option because they have a point guard that nobody can guard, they have a center that rebounds, blocks shots, and runs the floor, they have loul deng who was border line great only 2 seasons ago and can return to that form. If he goes to chicago his team will still be very good in 3 years, if he stays in cleveland 3 years form now they will be terrible.

He’s still in the playoffs, it’s not time to get serious yet. All that he’s getting serious about, I promise you, is beating Boston.

dont know if he’s going to chicago or not, but you put him there with rose/noah/deng/hinrich/gibson and whoever else they fill out the roster with and that team is better then these cavs imo. All those guys are getting better and they defend.

Boston is way better than people think and they showed that last night. Cleveland is done for. They didnt even look like they wanted to be there last night and LeBron is not leaving. Danny has done everything possibly to put a good team out there for Lebron the last couple years and i dont know why he could even think about leaving when they give him the best team in the L then he plays as bad as he did last night. thats LEBRONS fault. hes the team needs to pick him up when hes down. but LeBron didnt want to play last night and when ur teammates see that…they dont want to either.LeBron owes it to cleveland to stay

is a dumb azz. If Chicago trades hinrich and deng they would have 44.6 million dollars to spend. easily enough for two superstars and some role players. Gibson,Noah,Rose,Johnson and two superstars and some role players will be more than enough to persuade lebron to be one of them. Chicago has way better pieces than the knicks do to put together. Rose is the third best pg in the league and Noah is a rising center. I’d would say top 10 right now. They also have the 17th pick. even if they dont trade they have a playoff team and room to sign a superstar and more. They prolly would of been the five seed this year if it wasnt for injuries to there three best players rose, noah, and deng.

so lets be real here. Chicago is one of the most attractive places to go for a free agent. and Lebron doesnt want one title in his career. He wants atleast 7. Where will the cavs other players be in 7 years. hickson, AJ and who

You are the “dumb azz” because no one wants the contracts of Hinrich and Deng to begin with, and even if they did, that team would most likely have to send a relatively large contract back to Chicago in exchange. Sooo just ill a lil

Chicago will sign Wade then trade Hinrich and Deng for sidekick in the 10 to 15 mil. range. possibles
Gay thru S and T , Iggy , Boozer thru. S and T..Etc,..After all that they’d still have 9 mil in cap room and the MLE…could reach still reach to guys like Lee who may see gold in Chicago…then a vet for the MLE and what what…Rings….

The trade deadline passed already leppy, how would they trade hinrich and deng and get the cap space.
More realistically they are stuck with them till probably the trade deadline Feb. 2011.
They had their chance to move Hinrich and couldn’t do it.
In this day teams aren’t lining up to trade for guys with multi year contracts unless its for another long term deal.
With few exceptions for players like Deron Williams, Chris Paul and a few others

The 7 titles not sure what the hell your talking about but no athlete in professional sports is getting 7 titles anymore.
I agree that whoever posted this to be foolish becaz what do the Cavs have to offer any big time player?
J.J. Hickson and Jamison thats it.
At PG they have an overrated Mo Williams who’s come up short last 2 years in the playoffs & is due 26 mill next 3 years..
At SG they have a 35 year old shooter who’s better days are behind them he can’t slow down Rondo or Ray Allen
At C if they sign Shaq he will be 39 come playoff time and obviously way past his prime, will he be healthy even.
The bench has Delonte West, Sebastian Telfair, Daniel Gibson all small overrated guards.
Jamario Moon, Anderson Varajeo, Leon Powe are nice players off the bench.
Big Z who knows if he comes back or retires.
Not to mention the team is capped out and the coach hasn’t done much to change the system or philosophy at all.

ScareCrow are you talking video games now getting all those player they’ll get 1 star player thats it.

Why not Chicago? You can go there and know that you have talent to play with. That team in my opinion played better this season than last despite all the injuries and losing their leading scorer. The team had no inside or perimeter threat and still went .500. Some people would even say they did it without a coach, though I disagree with that as the guy should get some credit for the positives. I think the execs in Cleveland have put in a lot of work to try to build a team around Lebron, but they have a lot of guys that are going to be overpaid and not much wiggle room to get any better going forward especially considering they have a bunch of older guys. If that team loses Lebron, they won’t have any room to sign a max player and that is really hard to imagine.

why do people think he can play with rose neither one of those guys are good off the ball. lebron needs to man up and put this team on his back the way the other great players have done. what they need to do is start varajoe and hickson and bring shaq and jamison off the bench where they can play their games without lebron dominating the ball so much and get jamison away from kg

LeBron to Chicago is a ideal fit. 2 palyers that almost nobody in the league can guard on 1 team. Plus Noah,Taj,Deng,Hinrich and a nice draft pick possibly. Plus in Chicago he will be playing on a HUGE stage and surely be loved by all the Bulls fans. If Bron wins a couple titles there, Bulls fans would put LeBron on the same level as MJ or maybe even above. If i were him, Id go to Chicago for sure.
