Just wanted to share with everyone how the Twolves scrimmage was last night. Overall it was cool and fun to see the rookies in action (Tyus Jones, KAT). It was a laid back scrimmage and ppl just tried doing flashy dunks and didnt play much defense. Lavine obviously was throwing down crazy dunks and he did his spin ball move into a dunk over somebody like he did in the rising star challenge. Towns was impressive he was hitting 3s and strong post moves down low, he also threw down a between the leg dunk which I didnt know he could do being 7 feet tall. Lorenzo Brown did a lot of flashy stuff but it was just a scrimmage. Tyus Jones looks like he will be a solid PG he is very calm and patient with the ball and his handles are very tight. Thats about all I came away with, was a cool event!

I think ALL NBA teams should do this.  Make it like Midnight Madness.

If they make it FREE it could be one of the few times many fans get to see their NBA team in action.

Dunks, warm ups, and a scrimmage would be enough…

    Give the fans a night.

It might also generate more interest in the upcoming season than some random, overpriced preseason game.

Yes, the t-wolves scrimmage was free. Great event and it would be nice to see other teams do it too. I believe KAT finish with 24 pts, 14 Rebs and 2 blks, Lavine had 25 pts, brown had 11pts and Wiggins had 9pts but barely played. They played 9 minute, 3 quarters for the scrimmage.

I was also there yesterday. Left at the halftime point.

But, I was very impressed with Lavine, I felt like his jumper improved dramatically and that he showed leadership on his team.

Wiggins was just going through the motions, but it was still nice seeing him out there.

KAT will be a great addition to our front court. Even though his 3 was somewhat impressive, I want him to focus on posting up.

Jones was solid and he’ll be a good back up for Rubio. Maybe the local connection will put more butts in the seats.

As far as the event goes, for a basketball fan, like myself, it was great. But I brought my gf and her kids and they should’ve added a little more of the fun things…. cheerleaders, mascot appearances, and crazy jumbotron skits. Dbeal31 did they do anything with Crunch at the end? What did I miss from the 2nd half? Kids got bored
