Thunder/Pistons trade

Oklahoma City recieves:
-pick #8

Detroit recieves:
-pick #12
-pick #29
-2014 2nd round pick

That way, the Thunder could draft a real center(Zeller or Len) and amnesty Perkins if they wish. And, the Pistons, who may have a SG/SF on their radar and could still land Caldwell-Pope, Giannis, or maybe Muhammed, who Im seeing fall as low as the mid 1st round on mocks lately. Plus, it gives Detroit a couple more picks to play with for rebuilding this summer.

What you guys think

If Michael Carter-Williams is

If Michael Carter-Williams is there guy then i say yes because he should available then. I just dont see Shabazz slipping this far. If this trade was made

12. MCW / Schroeder
29. BPA, they have needs in a lot of areas and just lack talent, if its a big then they build depth, if they get a wing then they dont have to go sign one, and if they draft another point guard then he can be the scoring energy off the bench.

Like it! Len or zeller should be there at 8. Looks like both are gone by 12

For some reason I want the thunder to take CJ McCollum; he can be a huge offensive spark at the 1 for them.

The thunder would be as good

The thunder would be as good or better off by keeping 12th pick, picking up Olynyk or Dieng at 12. Then picking up a scoring option (deshaun Thomas or Archie Goodwin) at 29. We all saw the thunder struggled to score other than Durant when Westbrook went down

Please no Olynyk. I'm thinking Pope looks like a Thunder guy.

Great trade for both teams. I like it! I wish someone from one of the organizations saw it. It actually works in the favor of both teams.

Thanks everyone. Hope no one

Thanks everyone. Hope no one minds me admitting but the truth is I'm a Piston fan at heart but I honestly thought this trade made very good sense for both sides. Simply put: I just thought OKC could use that 8th pick more than we could considering who they would be able to get and, at the same time, all of the players, at that point, that we would want we could get lower in the draft. Thanks again and have a great Memorial Day!

The trade works well so a +1

The trade works well so a +1 from me but Joe Dumars has had such good players fall to him at 8 or 9 in the draft over the last few years, I wonder if he'd want to trade down.

Also I think that the Pistons would either want a 2014 first rounder from Detroit maybe to give them extra options in that draft or the trade is just a straight swap of picks for this year - 12, 29th, 32nd for 8th and 38th.

Amnesty all Amnesty Perk arguments

It doesn't make sense. Please stop with the Amnesty Perk arguments. The definitive analysis on why the Thunder will not amnesty Perkins is right here. http://dailythunder.com/2013/05/should-the-thunder-amnesty-kendrick-perk...

This doesn't mean the Thunder wouldn't make a trade and also pick a center. But they won't pick a center and Amnesty Perkins. It would take them 2 years to develop either Len or Zeller as a center, more likely Len.
