These are a couple ideas I have that could help the Thunder in the short term and long term process. The second trade I is a wish trade but if picks were added I could see the cavs accepting this deal because they are shedding cap space and getting a cheap hard worker in return and we all know as longs as the salary works Kahn will accept any trade not involving K. Love
Your first trade has promise but Memphis seems to like Young and and with Rudy hurt they may keep him and try to move Mayo.
Your second trade is a little far fetched.
Why in the world would the Cavs trade Jamison for Nick Collison. Not only is Jamison the better player which is moot point, but for a team rebuilding you tell me what they'd rather have 2 years left of Jamison, or 5 more years of Collison? If they end up keeping Jamison he will be a huge trade asset next year as a 13 mil expiring contract. Doesn't hurt that in the short term he brings veteran leadership and heart.
Because after this year collison on makes 2 mil a year
^^ Yeah for 4 more years. Jamison is a huge expiring next year plus he's an actual starter. Cleveland is not in the position to simply make financial moves.
Your second trade works out but there is no way that the other teams would accept it.
Memphis won't give up Sam Young for Daequan Cook
Props on being creative, but neither trade is realistic.
