aarondsonixfanParticipantThe Thunder are enamored (spelling?) with Stanley Johnson’s 2-way playing ability, and are very high on him in this draft. Is there a chance they trade up for him? If so, what would it take? Perry Jones, Jeremy Lamb or both and their 14th pick? Who do you think would make this trade?

NJBrown5ParticipantIf the Pistons or Hornets don’t see anyone on the board that they’re absolutely in love with, it’d seem like a logical move for them to both move back and take that offer (Jones, Lamb and 14). It’s only a couple spots lower, and there should still be players available at that spot that both teams have shown interest in (Dekker for Detroit, Oubre for Charlotte).
Miami might entertain the idea as well to try and help fill out their bench a bit more, but they might also stay put and take BPA. It’s tough to get a read on Riley sometimes.

TRC1991ParticipantI imagine the Hornets would take Lamb, Jones and the 14th for #9

Dgtool2ParticipantWould you give Lamb, Jones, and the 14th to acquire Johnson?

Mr. HookShotParticipantIf I was any of those teams I would ask for their first rounder next year in addition to the 14th pick. Lamb and Jones are talented, but they haven’t shown they can be consistent contributors next year.

XYRYXParticipantActually the first time I hear this actually but this makes sense to me. They need to overhaul the wing backup positions or finally let Lamb play significant minutes.
#14, PJIII and Lamb are more than equal value for the 9th pick to me. If the Hornets really want more than this find another team willing to take this. Overall I think it might not hurt the Thunder to get a bit of change on the wings. Lamb clearly is talented and is often viewed as an All Star talent in training, but never really gets it when he is given minutes in game.
I’m totally cool replacing Lamb and Jones with someone like Stanley and maybe this opens the roster spot for Josh Huesties who sacrificed his first round contract last year for a year in the D-League and basically was given a promise last year.
On the other hand I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Lamb would have a mini break out next year beeing a 6th man candidate with something like 13/3/2.

jerb2011ParticipantThe Thunder have reportedly been shopping Jeremy Lamb, Perry Jones, and Steve Novak. Sam Presti is looking to resign both Enes Kanter and Kyle Singler, so that would have them at 17 players in the roster. They need cap relief and space.
