    Agree or disagree:

    1. Steven Adams should have been on the floor to end the game.

    2. Dion Waiters serves no purpose for the Thunder.

    3. The Thunder should not have switched every single screen.

    4. Kerr pulled a coaching version of the rope-a-dope and eventually let Westbrook/Durant, the Thunder’s complete lack of coherent offense beat themselves.

    5. Lebron uses the Illuminati as an excuse for getting bounced in 5.

Westbrook is tough, but completely out of control.  I would have liked to have seen the Thunder not switch every screen and leave Adams guarding Curry/Thompson.  My guess is that’s why he was pulled from the game, but 1.) I’d bet the shooting percentages from deep with Adams in/out out of the game were very similar, 2.) you miss the blue collar toughness from Adams.

agree with everything.  i think the warriors just have an extremely versatile, veteran lineup that was too much at the end of the day.  barbosa, livingston and even varajao had great moments in the late 3rd and early 4th.

i think #2 is probably the truest thing on the list.  i think webber and reggie kept saying that throughout the game that the chemistry sucked when waiters was on the court.  i think he’s heading in the career path of nick young and gerald green.  streaky scorers that refuse to pass the ball.

Tried to get Adams, Kanter & Ibaka the ball down low was Waiters…….. I’m not saying Waiters is a good player but he was at Least Agreesively Attacking & Dishing………

Westbrook & Durant were like Zombies……. it’s like that Movie Ground Hog day…… EVERY single year OKC has More talent than the team that Knocks them out………

& it’s Always the Same reason…… KD & Russ get in the Dorlean & Travel thru Time back to the 90’s & play ISO Ball…….

They blamed it on Brooks ….. now I guess they will Blame it on Donovan……. the Problem is the Super-Star in the the Mirror………..

While I don’t disagree with anything you said, the Thunder lost games 6 and 7 because their superstars didn’t perform well. in the biggest moments.  Billy Donovan’s coaching decisions can be debated, but ultimately this collapse after being up 3-1 is on the Thunder players and their lack of leadership.  Maybe the moment was too big for them? I don’t think thats the case, but Steph Curry and Klay Thompson clearly executed better than Russ and KD down the stretch and are playing in the finals because of it

They executed better, but man, some of the shots they made were crazy. Like iso behind the back shooting with a hand in his face 3pt. I don’t think that is a "good shot" or "good execution" per se, but ultimately they are much better shooters than KD and Russ so it seems that they execute better. Someone has to make KD work on his post game and they really need to take the ball out of their hands at the start of the possesion. If not they are straight to Melo’s career path: good numbers, sometimes good playoff runs, but never achieving anyting.

Agree with everything except #2. He obviously still had his bonehead moments but when he played the playmaker role, he was very effective as a drive and disher, and even hit some big shots early in this series and against the Spurs.

Not saying we need to keep him full-time though. The only reason I wouldn’t be crazy over getting rid of him yet is because we don’t have anyone ready to take that role

think trading Jeremy Lamb was a bad decision? I liked him at the draft, but then I haven’t seen him very often. Would you think he could have made a better job defending Thompson?

It’s hard to say for 1. However, Waiters played well. Everyone who talks about him jacking bad shots and not passing is clearly watching old film of him, because for the last two series at least he has been a perfect role player. He shot well from deep, didn’t take step back jumpers unless forced to and did a good job as a passer when he drove at the hoop. He also played well on D for the most part. The shots steph and Klay made were amazing, and just because they went in doesn’t mean that the D was poor. Also, with the level of switching that occurred you can’t really blame any one defender for someone’s performance. Waiters may technically have been guarding klay, but every given possession these match ups were chopped and changed.

1.Hard to say really as everyone was getting shot over so I don’t think it would make any difference who was on the court to be honest with you..

    2. Dion serves a purpose but seems to be less effective when both He and Russ are on the court(Russ seems to freeze out the SG)..As until Russ shares the ball like he did with Reggie/James with Dion he is going to be relegated to that corner 3 which seems to be completely ignored/used sparingly by russ-unless the player cuts to the hoop giving him an easy dime(which wouldn’t hurt if dion did more of)..

When Dions shot isn’t falling/given many attempts he still tries to remains productive though: his defense is solid mostly,he passes the ball more than he used and tries to  involve more players than just K.D in the game,he can take pressure off K.D running the PG(when russ on the bench) and finally he can create off the dribble which only K.D and Russ seem to do…Which for a role player/6th man is pretty valuable these days as they give your team that spark they need off the bench…

3.I think the player swithching didn’t work when the player didn’t go to the man they were meant to:Usually it left the Big scrambling to cover the screw up. If they are going to keep this defense they better tighten it up come training camp…

4.I don’t know if it was solely Kerrs tactics or the superstars reverting back to bad habbits/panicking when the warriors started hitting some 3 and not trusting the system when it came crunch time…

    5. Lol  I’m guessing 4-2(GSW) but yeah most likely Lebron will throw someone under the bus when the going gets tough/they lose…
