Pacers_Fan33ParticipantI know this is just an angry rant, but I can’t help. How did the Thunder win this game? I am just tired of the Thunder. And I understand that the NBA is a league of stars; but im tired of Westbrook and Durant getting the benefit of every call, night in and night out. It makes me sick, and then when they dont get a call they whine, EVERY SINGLE TIME. And i know I cant be the only one that sees this. Not to mention a couple of blown calls down the stretch even when the referees reviewed the play?!?! Im just very confused and feel like ive been cheated. I have never felt so betrayed by the NBA. I love this game, but this was atrocious. Somebody please explain.

Pacers_Fan33ParticipantI dont get it, were you guys watching this game down the stretch. This was a f*cking travesty. That blown review call is embarassing to the league and its officials. wow

llperezHonestly, the more they show the replay on the Jackson foul, the more it looks 50/50 on who it went out on. If the ruling is Barnes got ball as hand is part of the ball, then after Jackson gets slapped, he pretty much just let’s it go. So if the call is Barnes got ball, then I guess it’s very close on who touched it last. Hard to overturn it. Even all 3 TNT guys are breaking it down and figuring it’s closer to 50/50 then they originally thought.

Pacers_Fan33ParticipantI understand one 50/50 call going their way, but this seemed like the refs missed every single call down the stretch. A couple of blocking calls on big baby, both were pretty 50/50; but come on, what else can he do to defend against those Westbrook layups, i thought he played near perfect defense. Obviously there is questions behind that three that westbrook put up, i dont even need to explain that. I guess I understand missing calls, but to miss every call down the stretch obviously in favor of one team. I dont get it.

AdamJCallejaParticipantYou can’t blow a 13 point lead with three and a half left then blame the officiating. The clippers’ offense was horrible down the stretch.

FourParticipantI have no rooting interest in these series, I wish this was the conference finals as these are the most entertaining teams left for me. And I’ll concede that a couple of calls looked suspect…the Clips appeared to get hosed. But it never should have mattered – if you are up 13 with three and a half to go you don’t lose without making A LOT of mistakes on your own. And to his credit that is what CP3 focused on – his own mistakes.

Lawrence112ParticipantFirst Z-Bo gets suspended for game 7 on a questionable decision then the last 3 minutes of this game happened. It seems like the league wants KD to advance.

llperezZbo might not have thrown a full on uppercut, but he had his fist close and struck Adams in the jaw. Only he is to blame for his emotional outburst that cost his team a chance in game 7.

ThunderHog35ParticipantI’m sorry but intentional contact to the head of a player is ABSOLUTELY the type of contact that should be taken out of the game. Basketball is a contact sport and the inadvertent things, even to the head, should be a play on situation but shoving/pushing/punching someone in the head shouldn’t be a part of the game. This isn’t hockey….

King CaluchaParticipantWow… this is getting out of proportion.
I’ve got so say one thing though. The Thunder’s offense is just terrible. I understand KD had a bad game and Westbrook was given a green light, but I can’t help thinking he’s not a good teammate. He jacked up too many shots … some plays consisted on Westbrook running the floor and pulling a J from the perimeter without passing the ball once.
Also, the shot he took when fouled at the end of the game… that was a terrible decision. If I’m not mistaken, KD was getting a pin down screen on the weak side which would have been a decent look for a 3.

BennyWestsideParticipantThis is a rich thread given that the Thunder are playing the Clippers. I will happily admit that the Thunder have become really bad at whining about calls and flopping, which really gets on my nerves. However, no one comes close to the Clippers in this regard. Griffin is embellishing on every play, and does all sorts of after the play stuff that is just cynical. Paul also flops a lot. Not saying that the Thunder aren’t, just that the Clippers are at best, just as bad.

TyroberParticipantI love how your complaining about the Thunder, but you realize the team they are playing has Chris Paul and Blake Griffin on it right? Paul is the biggest flopper in the league and I have never saw anyone as bad as Griffin complain about calls.

Spree33ParticipantCool discussion so far!!!
if you ask me, Chris Paul is the most whiny in this series. On every possession he thinks he is fouled. I am a huge Chris Paul Fan, but his behavior is getting on my nerves. On top of that, he thinks he can outsmart the refs and chuck up a three at halfcourt if the opponent is stopping the clock by fouling. I´m glad they didn´t call a foul in this situation. He tried that in the regular season almost every time. In my opinion Chris Paul is to blame here. The only good thing here, that he owned up to it. I expect him to be very good on thursday!

hbomb3300ParticipantI don’t understand the outrage on the call… the refs decided that the replay was inconclusive but even if they did decide it was off Reggie the rulebook says if hitting the hand of a player causes them to lose the ball the possession is rewarded to the ball handler. Also, Chris Paul did hit Westbrook on the elbow on that last shot.

Memphis MadnessParticipantI disagree. I think the league would rather have the Clippers in the Finals. Kevin Durant is already a SUPERSTAR. He is the MVP of the league and the reigning scoring champ. How much bigger can they make him? LeBron is the FACE of the league, with KD as the rising star. Russell is a huge star too.
BUT, the Clippers in the Finals? Donny Sterlings’ team? Magic wants to buy them? That would be a red hot Finals… HUGE media market, the glamour of LA, Lob City…
Chris Paul is one of the TOP guys in the league. A Finals appearance would really put him over.
Then they can argue about the Big Three today in the NBA. LeBron, Durant, and CP3…
Blake Griffin is a super star too, who is one heck of a player and a guy you have to game plan for. He could use an extra push too. Instead of the "future of the NBA being just KEVIN! and Russ, you can put the Blake Show in there too.
The Clippers are also an "underdog" franchise who hasn’t won much. You could have that angle against the Miami Heat. The heavy favorites versus this really fun, upstart team.
An NBA Finals featuring LeBron, Chris Paul, D Wade, Blake Griffin, Bosh, and DeAndre Jordan? A sniper competition between JJ Reddick and Ray Allen?
I think that would be bigger than round two of LeBron vs. Durant or LeBron vs. Spurs 3.0.
