torontoraptors10ParticipantThree way trade between Nets, Lakers, Rockets.
This trade may lead up to a Melo trade to New Jersey.

PlatypusParticipantHouston needs a good big now, they have a lot of depth 1-3 now with; Brooks, T-Will, Martin, Lowry, Lee, Battier, and Budinger
I smell a trade for a center because right now Chuck Hayes is there starting center, who is 6’6

QUINCEY HODGES1despite his height Hayes is one of the best defensive centers in the NBA but the problem is he doesn’t have much offense

SwatLakeCityParticipantWow nets definitely get the short end of the stick in this one. They may get two first rounders and one that is lottery protected but still that probably won’t work out. They must be banking that Melo will sign there with those two extra picks. But I still doubt it. He’s going to the Knicks and the Nets had better just pull out now before they really get shafted.

SwatLakeCityParticipantYou know this trade is kind of funny. I mean before the season when Courtney Lee was traded from New Jersey to Houston, we all said that this would benefit Twill and he would he would have a break out season. He isn’t so what do the Nets do? Trade him to the Rockets to once again team up with Courtney Lee. He just can’t get away from him can he?
When this trade happens would the Rockets start Twill at the 3 over Battier or would he be a backup instead? What do you guys think?

Tongue-Out-Like-23Participantbackup forsure.
Instant energy off the bench, Battier’s perimeter defense is the BEST in the league, bar none.

NYK2010ParticipantThe Lakers 1st round pick in 2011 that won’t be any good the Rockets pick in 2012 is lottery protected.
I wonder what all these picks are worth in the long run.
Nice trade for the Lakers they get Joe Smith and moved their 1st rounder that’ll save them some $.
